Osprey Camera Storage Cube, Charcoal Grey, Small

I’m a long time Osprey fan and have multiple packs of theirs between myself and my kids. They’re one of the companies truly still doing the work with warranties and they’ve never failed to fix or send me parts for things as they’ve worn out, and the quality has always been top notch. The camera cube is no different.It is small for the small size, that needs to be known, but it fits nicely in the bottom half of my commuter pack. For me it fits a full frame Nikon DSLR body with 17-35mm lens, a longer prime lens, and some assorted accessories. It’s perfect for the trip I have coming where I want minimal gear with me. I figure it’ll fit a smaller mirrorless body a lot better, but it still holds the chunk just fine.The foam is very nice, the Velcro is nice and sticky. All the zippers are smooth, and the shape fits well into a pack and allows stacking of other stuff easily. I wish Osprey would go and make a dedicated camera pack now as I love what I’ve seen so far. The medium would take up my entire commuter pack so keep that in mind if you need something smaller.

I find this to be a perfect size for my Osprey talon 22. It holds multiple Sony E mount lenses and a Sony a7cr. Very well built and more than adequate padding. Also has loops if you want to attach a strap to carry it alone. I highly recommend it.

This was an incredible case but more centric for a DSLR then a mirrorless. I had 2 extra lenses and tons of accessories and couldn’t fill it all. Maybe someone more serious would utilize this better…

I love this case! The foam is firm on the inside allowing for good division, as well as the exterior case being rigid as well. The Backpack pictured is an Osprey Talon 22 in L/XL (so it's more like 24L). It fits at the bottom of the pack with a little wiggle room, if you want to pack underneath the case it fits nicely towards the top of the pack as well. While packed it does make it hard to use more than one of the water bottle pouches on the outside, but I am still able to easily fit a 32oz Nalgene in one pocket. A 3L osprey water bladder also fits in the pack snuggly. The gear in picture is a Fuji XS10 with the XF 18-55mm on body, and the larger lense on the side is a Fuji 70-300mm. I would recommend the small camera case to those with a smaller mirrorless setup and the medium to those with DLSR's or larger mirrorless setups. The extra fold in the lid is great for grabbing your camera quickly from your pack. Overall I think this case will protect my camera when traveling, and hiking. The color is a perfect subtle grey, and the case functionaly behaves as great organizer and protector of your gear!

I have several Osprey packs and am more than satisfied with their designs and quality, but this packing cube is simply too small for a DSLR with a normal lens plus a telephoto. It is well suited for smaller cameras or for DSLRs with normal lenses and shorter zoom lenses, but it did not accommodate my DSLR body, a normal lens, plus a longer telephoto. Very sturdy materials and quite flexible so would be great for those with shorter telephotos who wish to protect their gear in day packs or back packs.

I've been trying to photograph more on trips but always struggle to find the best to pack my camera. This Osprey camera storage cube came out at the perfect time! I already had an Osprey backpack, this was the logical addition to that! The small storage cube easily packed up my Fujifilm X-T5 and my 3 lenses along with a small flash and lens hoods. I then packed in my backpack for easy transport. All my equipment survived the trip to iceland and mexico city safely and I was able to get some great pictures! I think I will get the photolid next!

Osprey's Camera Cube is very nicely made from high quality materials. The exterior is finished in a durable woven fabric and has a semi-hard structure. The interior is finished in a flocked material. There is a large handle on the top to carry the case, and loops for a shoulder strap, but no shoulder strap is included.The case has one opening. It is accessed via a zipper and the case opens like a suitcase. The zipper opens smoothly and has large pulls. The interior has movable dividers that velcro into place. I was easily able to get the case to accommodate my Sony a6100, Sony 10-18 lens, Sony 35mm lens, and Sony 18-55 kit lens inside, along with a charging cable. Everything is well protected and separated from each other.All in all... a great, and straightforward, case.

I've got a Canon DSLR and a few lenses I like to take with me when I travel. This storage cube holds them and keeps them safe while they are in my backpack. I've got a daylite day pack and it's pretty full but I can this small camera cube in and feel like it's still keeping my camera safe. This case is meant to go inside of another bag, so it doesn't have clips or straps to attach to the outside of your bag. The padding, foam, and shape of the bag are well made and the quality just feels great. If you've used other Osprey bags, this storage cube is made the same way. I feel good about being able to put this into my day pack along with other non-photogrpahic gear. I feel like it'll keep my stuff safe and I can hike to find the perfect spot. The interior is a nice bright orange color which makes it easy to find small things inside. So many times with other camera bags I've lost a little adapter or SD card inside of a black lined bag and spent a long time trying to find it. The contrast between accessories and the orange lining on this bag is a nice touch. This camera storage cube is well made and Osprey definitely put some thought into this.
