Does great for the price
I’m not my 2nd year using this. I bought it on a budget as I had just had my expensive Bushnell in the woods and somehow couldn’t find it. This one does the job. The only complaints I’d have is it’s a little bulky and the range button is a little tough getting used to. I use it for practice on the range and it works very well.

Works nicely!
Just out of the box and was excited to check it out. First thing I noticed is that it was a bit larger in the hand than a name brand range finder that I purchased for my son, however it is still easily handled. I powered it up and took it out to my archery range and tested it out. Testing showed it was very quick to respond/ display distance and is definitely accurate. I will use it during archery season to measure distances from my hunting blinds at set up. All in all, I think it’s a great value for the buyer that doesn’t need expedition/guide quality name brand equipment although I think it’s capable of getting the job done anywhere. I gave it 4 stars only because of the size.

Range finder
It arrived overnight I thank Amazon for that. I put the battery in and checked the distance to my target. Pretty accurate. Less than a foot deviation. It's simple to use, straight forward. The price was right too. For the value it's hard to beat. I recommend it to anyone

A must have for hunters.
Very accurate. I have double checked with a tape a couple times. If you have a steady hand you can read something as small as a garden stake at 50 yards.Highly recommended

Aofar HX-700N, Good Deal, Accurate, Reccomend
Ok, so after reading the reviews on this Aofar HX-700N laser rangefinder I figured I'd give it a shot. I have a hunting trip coming up this christmas, and wanted to give myself a bit of an edge, but didn't have the budget to spend $200 or more on a "brand name" range finder. I also didn't want to throw away $100 on a "budget" rangefinder that wasn't any good, so I shopped around. As I said, I read the reviews, and they seemed mostly positive. Upon receiving it I noticed the construction was lightweight but robust feeling. It comes with a lanyard that hooks directly to the rangefinder which can be worn around your neck for ease of use, a carry pouch with belt loop, a carabiner, and a battery. My only concern was how accurate it would be. I'm a little ocd so after receiving it I decided to put it to the test. I have a 100ft surveyors tape from lowe's, and ran it all the way out to 100ft. I hooked the start of the tape to the front bumper of my truck then stood at the 100ft mark. I aimed the rangefinder directly at the ground in front of my truck, the headlight, bumper, grille, and other parts of the front of my truck and it showed 33yds fairly consistently. 100 feet is 33.33yds, but the rangefinder only shows whole numbers, no fractions or decimals. I also tested it indoors from one wall to another wall and it accurately read 9yds, which I likewise checked against a tape measure. After those tests and a few more I can confidently say it is accurate to within 1yard. I attribute this to the fact that it only shows whole numbers, and seems to round to the nearest yard. So it may be off by +/- 1.5ft, but that's pretty damn good for an $80 rangefinder. My only real gripe would be that the crosshairs and range reading don't light up, so you can't use it in the dark. Other than that I'm quite pleased with it, and look forward to seeing how accurate it is at longer ranges (100yds plus) on my hunting trip, but I expect it will be just as accurate. I highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a quality, affordable rangefinder.

Cheap case, customer service no reply
Do not trust the case. I had owned the range finder for about 5 days, the case broke losing the range finder. I always clip my range finders on my harness or bag for easy access. Walking out of the woods the stitching from the case was not durable and the range finder detached. I retraced my steps once I got back to the lot and could not find it. My guess is the strap easily unstitched while I was walking back on a hiking trail and someone picked it up. I contacted customer service hoping to get a response, sadly, I did not get a reply. Range finder worked well but do NOT trust the case, very cheaply made. Very disappointed I rarely do not write poor reviews
