So far, the only amazon sea monkey kit that worked. I get a sea monkey kit for my friend every year for her birthday as a long-running gag. She set it up this week and can see activity already. She works in a school so this will be fun for kids.She did note that the boiling water may have warped the plastic container a bit, but they see no real problems so far.

Bought these for my best friend’s son for his bday. He wanted his own “pet.” Let me tell you about these suckers… they come with a million dang eggs it feels like. But the first batch we put in the tank died and then we left the tank alone for awhile and somehow some of them spontaneously came back to life and lived off the algae in the tank for almost 2 months. One of them got so big we could tell it was a male! This worked for us and he loved it lol

Purchased as a birthday gift for my science loving 6 year old. It came with really good instructions, links to a podcast and great photos. It took a while for them to hatch, but it was fun to watch. Included everything we needed but water!

Bought this for my 5-yr son. It‘s his 1st time to have seamonkeya and he was soooo excited. Guess what? 3 days later and still nothing was happening. We followed every single instruction on the manual. Not as single egg hatchedand now he‘s heart broken. Guess I will just buy him another set from another brand.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was a fun activity for the kids. The shrimp stay super tiny so the kids lost interest after a while, but the concept is nice and it was a good price for what we received. Don’t over feed them tho!

This is great I’ve had them before years ago and LOVED THEM, Cool creatures, great first pet for someone looking for something simple, however this one they keep dying and I’ve done everything the instructions say to do I don’t know where I’m going wrong but they’ve died 3x and at this point I don’t know what to do. But it u manage to get this and they live “only a few will live and it’ll get bigger to where u can see it better” they are extremely cool to watch. My review is coming based on all of them dying each time I tried and no have no clue why.
