High-Resolution USB-C DAC Audio Adapter for Enhanced Mobile Audio

Weird title, I know. Considering that these were $22 at the time of my purchase, I took the last few months in trying them out. They function like any other usb c audio jack/dongle. The quality of the plastic is a bit stiff, almost like it could break either the 3.5mm jack or the adapter itself.One thing I can atest to is they do enable Higher bitrate playback for streaming services. That's a good plus, but any other usb c audio adapter can do the same at a lower price point.To actually touch on this, I really don't know who or what these are marketed for? Maybe audiophile or radioheads? Who knows, I'm still trying to figure out the 3 colored button sequences on the adapter. There's not much in the way of instructions, explaining this. Only just a small sheet of paper with an obscure set of information.As far as connectivity goes, it's an adapter that ugs into your usb c port. Nothing honestly special about that. Rather, I would've like a braided cable dongle. Now, is this a great value for the asking price? Really depends if you want to "enhance" your music or games.For me, this is going to be a no go. One of the main reasons I have it 3 stars is the settings that supposedly enhances your audio. You press and hold the button once, nothing happens. Just a solid red Led that stays lit. Press the button twice it flashes in sequence, then goes right back to the red LED.There are far better options that are available on Amazon at a lower price point.
