Perfect
These worked great! I was heading to a week long vacation and it occurred to me all my fish tank lights didn’t have timers and my tanks are in a windowless basement, and I usually turn their lights on and off manually. I ordered three packs of these timers and they worked out wonderfully to have the light timers auto on and off. Only thing is you have to turn them on at the exact time of day you want them to auto start, and can’t set them to start at a certain time in advance, but they work great as a budget option.

Useful, easy to set up, and works!
Really useful product - It doesn't have a high level of customizability, but does what it's supposed to do, which is automate non-automated lighting for a cheap price. Basically, you turn it on at the time you want it to turn on every day, set how many hours it should be on, and it repeats that every day. Easy and effective. These worked just fine in-line with both an Aqueon hood, and a Topfin branded hood. Most of my tanks, I just use separate 24/7 timed lighting bars, and never even plug in the built in hood lights - this makes the built in hood lights useful again, and there's value to that!

Works well but not for me
Easy to use and set up with my 3 gallon top fin tank. Timer and brightness adjuster work as they should all for a good price for two. My biggest complaint is that if timer mode is activated you cannot turn the light on or it cancels the timer function which is very inconvenient and has made me return it. Otherwise, good product if you don’t care to use the light after the timer turns it off.

It’s a timer and a dimmer
It does work as intended. The buttons will do what they say in the instructions, it was easy to set up, and it keeps time well enough. Holding the +/- buttons makes the jump between settings smoother which I liked. However, I was wanting a light that dimmed as the timer counted down. That was my mistake for assuming this controller did that.

Simple but great value
Very simple but effective timer. You turn it on and select your ON duration and it’ll turn off when you asked and repeat the cycle from whatever time you turned it on last. There’s no timekeeping display but so far it’s been keeping time just fine. I didn’t look into compatibility but luckily it connected fine with my existing hood light. I also didn’t need more than one of them which makes the price an even better value.

Pass on this one
Not great. While it does turn the light on/off, it loses time and the lights turn on increasingly earlier and earlier each day. It isn't gradual either, you would have to reset it almost weekly to maintain anything close to the time you set it for.

This is great if you need a timer for your fish tank lights
This works as it should. I bought it because I needed the timer. It is also dimmable. Super easy to connect.

Good for timer and light dimmer
Nice one for aquarium.. You can put a timer on it and it dims the light.. I had a problem with my aquarium light before on being too bright we keep on getting algaes really fast.. So this one helps alot.

Works perfectly for dimming aquarium lights, and glad it has a timer already built in.
Does the job perfectly. So glad that my fish aren't being blasted by the LED light any more. I'm using them in two Marina LED aquariums (5 and 10 gallon).
