I use this hair to make my own pom pom. The weft is so thick that is turns into a round tube as you add the hair in a circular pattern. I need for the weft to lay flat like a pancake. For this reason, I will not purchase this hair again. If you are using this hair for a different reason than how I am using it, it may be good hair for you. This hair does not shed. It is soft and no smell
