The Scglage WiFi Automatic Door Lock is a game-changer! Easy to install in under 30 minutes, it connects seamlessly to your smartphone for remote locking/unlocking. The app is user-friendly and sends real-time access alerts, making it great for security. The auto-lock feature is convenient, and temporary codes for guests are a huge plus. Reliable and efficient, it's perfect for a hassle-free, smart home experience. Highly recommend!

Looks nice and the wifi, once hooked up, seems good, but...As I tried to illustrate in the video, there is a "one touch" feature that is normal for many locks. What I don't like is that the code cycles the dead bolt every time. If it's locked it opens and if it's open it locks. The if "it's open it locks part" is what I have a problem with. I find it very annoying to get home and to the door to open it with the code only to find the last person didn't lock its door and that I inadvertently just locked it. Reenter the code to get in the house. It took two tries to customer support via email to see if there was a switch or an update to fix this. I described my complaint clearly and this is what the response was. "The lock is designed to unlock with the one touch or with a code entered." I am assuming the "unlock" is a typo and should be "lock". Then I thought I'd give them a call. I was faced with the usual menu selections, french/english, residential/commercial, tech support and was told that I had selected the commercial however he was able to answer my questions and confirmed that there were no options to shut off the lock with code feature..which I consider a flaw in the programming. He suggested that I could look in the crack to tell if it was locked before entering the code, would work door that swings out but most entry doors swing in like mind does. The other idea he had was that I could use my phone to see the position. Maybe I am missing something? I have missed the return window or it would be boxed up already. I very strongly recommend you look for different, better lock options. Weiser are good.

Updated 11/27/25 - I purchased this lock for a second home that I let other family members use when I am not. The house is some distance from my primary residence, so I outsource some of the work needed like house cleaning and general house maintenance. I create a code for each of these situations and time bomb the code so after the work is done, the code no longer works. While I get notifications when the lock is opened and closed, they don't arrive within any specific timeframe, so you have no idea of when the lock was actually unlocked or locked. You must combine with a home camera system. I do like that you don't need a subscription to manage the lock remotely via your mobile device. Heads up... the quick guide installation manual that comes with the lock is not very useful, almost misleading. You have to use the QC code in the manual to access the user guide online to actually program the lock, the directions in the quick start guide are not at all accurate.

The lock itself is structurally superb. Turning the deadbolt is exceptionally smooth. The installation was painless, and the digital buttons work every time, very responsive. So why the four star rating? The app. It is very wonky with when it it provides an accurate confirmation. It often says it can't save a new code, and we exit the app, only to find it had in fact successfully stored it. We use it to manage a remote rental cabin 90 minutes away, so whenever we have same day guest booking/checkin, I get a bit of a pit in my stomach thinking, is it going to work when I add the code? It works about 50% of the time on the first attempt, and probably 30-35% on the second or third try. Other times, it consistently says it didn't save it, only to find out it did. It has never left us in the lurch completely, but it's never a warm fuzzy whenever we have to add a code under a time constraint. Again, great lock other than that.

Easy to install and set up, great not having to worry about keys. The App that you use with is also easy.
