Lovely item
Very sturdy wooden boards and lowercase alphabets. 16 words total. I liked that the boards were very smooth polished wood and very beautifully illustrated. There's a whole single set of alphabets a-z with extras for the more common ones like a,e, o etc. Very pleased with this purchase

A bit costly but it's classy and useful. One star is missing coz it doesn't has any cover to keep it dust or scratch proof. Even if u say it won't get scratch marks or u can wash it, still there should have some box to store the alphabets.

The name Melissa and Doug immediately gives the impression that the toy is educational, made to last and safe/fun for kids to play with anytime. A couple of years ago we had been given a puzzle for a gift and we were missing one piece for the puzzle, so I called the customer service to help us out with replacing the puzzle piece. I was immediately impressed with the fact Melissa and Doug company did not have an automated message for you to chose options from for customer service support. I waited no longer than 5 minutes to speak to a representative about getting the puzzle replace if possible, and we had it mailed to our home in less than 6 weeks. After having spoken with customer service in regards to replacing the puzzle, I am convinced that this is a great company and they make so many amazing products that has something for every household, age group and safe for kids to play with always. My son had this product in his pre-k class last year. I have been thinking about buying this for us to have in our home and he was interested in this product right away. This product is perfect for my 5 year old to learn how to spell words, identify letters, and to build his sight word vocabulary at the same time. My hope is that it will help the 2 year old to strengthen his fine motor skills while he is starting to learn about the letters on each of the boards in this product. I have high hopes that this product will help my 2 year old that has some developmental delays, to start his interest in letters, words and identifying pictures while he is building his spoken vocabulary.

Melissa & Doug product’s never disappoint, really pleased with this purchase. Great quality, packaged well with care, includes it’s own case for organisation (as shown in photos) & large/clear images depicting object/item being spelt. Appreciate the size of each puzzle, along with letters - thoughtfully created big enough for a toddler. Since purchasing, my daughter’s recognition & spelling have increasingly improved - would definitely recommend if you’re considering
