Not meant for active kids!
From the build and quality it was expected to at least last 6-8 months, but then the sole started wearing off within a month. It's also 'cos my kid played games donning it. But then assuming most 12 year old kids play some kind of sports during games period (where he cannot change into a sneaker for just 1 period) it might not last very long. Definitely not recommended for active kids. It would be better to invest in Force 10 range from Liberty as its sturdier and looks elegant.
