Perfect pack size
I actually have an older version of this same exact backpack. This new one is exactly the same except for it has more cargo space. That was my only complaint with the old one as it was slightly limited. This new version is perfect for a quick day pack or a go bag

Oakley Kitchen Sink!
Excellent backpack! I was fortunate to get it on sale and I am so pleased with this purchase! It is very sturdy and the quality really stands out over other backpacks. Worth every dollar!

I’m hike ready.
If you want a back pack that’s sturdy, rugged and ready for anything this is the one you want. Well built sturdy and lots of storage. My fly bag that hold 2-3 get away days of needs.

The perfect order for what I wanted so long ago
I saw this backpack back in 2010 when I worked for the Evil Empire (Microsoft) in Redmond ,WA... Always thought about it and after owning 10 or so other backpacks and never finding the right fit, I decided to finally go for it and get the Oakley Kitchen Sink Backpack... Should have bought it years ago and not the other 10 failed backpacks (Big and Small)

Beautiful looking bag, but functionality is limited
I’ve been using this backpack daily for the past couple weeks on travel, and first impressions are definitely positive—it looks sharp and the exterior material feels really tough. The inside front compartment has rigid pockets that keep small items organized, but they’re positioned so close to the main zipper that you’re limited in what you can fit (no bulky chargers or power banks, for example). The dedicated laptop sleeve is perfectly sized and I love the “quick‑access” zipper on the side…until you realize it’s the same sleeve. I kept shoving my notebooks and paperss in there, only to unzip it and find my laptop peeking out. It’s clever for grabbing your computer fast, but I worry someone could slip in and pull it out just as easily.Water bottle pockets are not generously sized, as my 20‑ounce Owala only fits the main pocket. That means it ends up rattling around in the main compartment, which isn’t ideal. Finally, the shoulder straps are firm—great for breathability, but they dig in after a few hours of wear. Overall, it’s a sturdy, good‑looking bag, but between the pocket layout and the strap comfort, I find myself reaching for something a bit more user‑friendly.

Holds more than expected.
Love the bag, I use it for work, Im a freight conductor and I work road. This bag is perfect for clothes and storing essentials. The liner makes it very easy to slip things in and out. The protective lense pouch in top works well. Its big enough for my phone "samsung 25 ultra" and more.I get lots of bag compliments from co workers. The zippers work very well, nice and sturdy.

Tried and true product for travel
I have a lot of backpacks. I've used many over the years traveling and the Kitchen sink always stands out whenever I'm boarding or in line at the airport. I found one on sale and picked up and did not regret it. I think the shoe compartment at the bottom is a little jank because it takes up space in the main compartment, but I understand the reasoning. Overall it's a great bag and have added it to the collection.
