Off Label Use - but this Looked FAB on my Gel Plate!
The "endless" or seamless pattern on the roller was a natural for use on a gel plate. I brayered out the acrylic paint in a thin layer first, ran this amazing texture roller over it, quickly ran it over clean paper to remove excess paint on the roller, and then set paper down to make a print. No guesswork on getting the pattern to match up like you get with stencils, stamps, or plates. It's GREAT!

Works great on clay
I spray this with a little cooking oil before use so it releases from the clay a bit easier. I think the pattern it makes is SO cool and it's been very fun and easy to use. It's small so it's a little tricky to make the pattern totally seamless when making bigger pieces of clay.

Pattern is not very visible
The media could not be loaded. I was expecting more of this product. I wasn’t able to get a very visible pattern, I tried rolling several times and I could not get an even pattern that was very visible like the one in the product photo. I found that if I pressed too little, there was barely any pattern and if I pressed really hard, the clay would have different thickness. The pattern however is very pretty and I’m gonna keep trying to make it work.

Be sure to use release agent
This polymer clay texture roller has a nice pattern. It is a bit unique and I've never seen this pattern before, so I like that about the roller. You need to use a release agent for this roller. I used corn starch and that worked well. In order to get a deeper pattern, I put a smaller acrylic rolling pin in the middle of the roller and that enabled me to get a deeper pattern by allowing me to push down harder on the texture roller. It comes in a small plastic container which makes it more convenient. It is a nice roller and I would recommend it!

Tiny
This is a nice enough texture roller, but it is WAY smaller than I thought it would be. It's about 3 inches long, and the pattern is small. It will work for polymer clay (which, to be fair, is how it is advertised) and air dry clay, but won't be overly useful anything but the smoothest ceramic clays.
