I got it as gift for my daughter’s friend who loves building stuff. She turned 9 and loved her gift. I did feel it was little pricey for the similar kind of gift but I end up ordering this as it was getting delivered sooner or I would have choose an alternative gift.

I am a full grown adult in online college now to become a physics teacher, and I love this kit! Because I am in online college, I don't have many opportunities to do hands on experiments, but this does the trick and it is fun! I plan to use this to demonstrate concepts of static electricity, electrolysis, electromagnetic induction, electroplating, and magnetic polarity in my future high school classroom. The book that came with it is simple and easy to follow, but be warry that some of the lessons within it are much too advanced for little ones, but they can learn it as they get older! I definitely had fun playing and learning with this kit.

I have bought previous engineering kits for my daughter & these are virtually a copy of the other kits- there's nothing original in this activity package. The instructions are terrible, but because my daughter had done previous kits, she didn't need the instructions, but for beginners, this is not great. Being that there are better and cheaper options, this is not a good value. Again, because it didn't have original content, this wasn't very fun for my child
