Copic Sketch Marker 3pc Color Fusion Set 5

Copics are unmatchable in term of ink quality and color choice, this set is a great set to start a green palette with. All 3 shades blend effortlessy and give you a smooth gradient.Be aware though, that since they are all in the "4" category when it comes to vibrance they are "muted" colors, it's normal, copic color code always work with the letter telling you which color family you are dealing with, the first number tells you how vibrant the color is on a scale of 0 to 9, with 9 being the LESS vibrant and the second number indicating whether a shade is dark or light with 0 being light and 9 being dark.This pack contains the colors G40 "Dim Green" which is a light green of medium vibrance, G43 "Pistachio" which is a darker green than the first but still within the same vibrance scale of 4 and finally G46 "Mistletoe" which is the darkest hue in this pack but still in the category 4 vibrance.This means slightly ashy tones but still vibrant enough. In the attached pictures I used all 3 markers of this pack plus 2 other Copic colors, as you can see it blends well.When I received this set, the brush nib felt a bit dry at first, but this happens if the markers have been stored vertically with the brush nib up, to solve this problem, simply turn your markers with the brush nib down to let the ink flow back into said nib.

Nothing really to say here. If you are acquainted with the art industry, you know about Copic markers. They are expensive, but worth every penny, and many artists would give up a Kidney to have a full set. With Copic Markers, you know the quality of what you are getting. It isn't even a question of the quality. When you buy these, you aren't thinking,' I wonder if these will work the way they supposed to'. You are wondering, ' Do I like markers enough to get into this, and get ready for a heavy investment.' ( Becuase you become like a Pokemon master and have to get them all). Overall, the colors work together. They have a brush nib on one end, which I love. This is a good starter pack if you are thinking about getting into Copic and have already had some marker experience. The way they blend is divine, and I only regret buying them because now I have gotten into the marker world and have the inclination to collect them all, which comes with a hefty price tag. ( although buying them here is slightly cheaper than going to the store for me)

I ordered the Green set, which featured the colors G40, G43, and G46. These colors are useful for all sorts of things, from trees to grass to even adding value to dark browns. The G40 is a little streakier than I had hoped and is going dry, but this is probably an issue with the marker itself and not the product as a whole since the others are working well.For the price, this is a great deal, as you are essentially able to buy three Copics for the price of two. I would recommend one of these sets for anyone new who wants to try Copics without committing themselves (and their wallet) to a larger box, since the three colors blend together and really showcase the main function of Copics: blending together.

Copic markers are absolutely amazing and deserve all of the love they get. They write smooth, don't oversaturate the paper and the colors are beautiful. I only have amazing things to say about copic markers. I wish they were cheaper, but you get what you pay for.
