When I first received this necklace I thought, "WOW! This is extremely nice. It had vibrant shine and shimmer to it. It has to be the white gold plating." I loved this necklace and was excited to wear it and show it off.I wore this necklace for a couple days getting great compliments on it. I even recommended it to a couple friends and told them where they could get one.I did not wear it everyday however, I have other jewlery and I like to mix it up and match with my outfits.Today is when my enjoyment of the necklace came to a screeching hault after having taken it off and after wearing it for a couple of days and before I start any work in the garage. I noticed the flakes of shimmering glitter on my hands, and I hate glitter so I know it couldn't have been that. After examining the necklace I noticed the clasp looked dirty and then I noticed the lines dividing color changes of dull silver and the shine I enjoyed so much. At first I figured maybe they used a cheap clasp like some other jewlery companies do but then I noticed discoloring on the chain itself!I knew now exactly what it was... The white gold plating had began flaking off of the necklace at some point over the last few days and I was pretty shocked considering I have only had the necklace for 42 days. Instantly I thought, "No big deal, I'm sure I can still return it since it has only been a short time."So, I logged into my account only to find out that there is a clear message stating that this product is out of its return window. Dissapointment brushed over me and left me feeling defeated. Naturally I decided that I would save someone else from this happening to them and write this review.I really hope this helps you in your decision to purchase this necklace.(PICTURES INCLUDED)
