... these are better than Apple on many levels. I don't know if audiophiles will agree, but Consumer Reports seems to in the under $200 price range. For regular people, the fact that you can get two sets of these for one pair of competing brands' similar or lesser quality earbuds probably solves the biggest problem of earbuds (they're so small they're easily misplaced). First, I *hate* things in my ears, so I was surprised to find years ago that I really liked Apple earbuds / Airpods for quality and fit. I've owned many, many pairs of wired and one pair of wireless. When my wireless Airpods died, these were on sale and it wasn't a great time to drop $100+ on earbuds. If it weren't Anker / Soundcore I wouldn't have even tried these, the price being so low they made me skeptical (and even the Anker brand is getting sketchy in the lowest priced tier of each item they offer). Right out of the box they fit great, worked well, and I've found the quality and ease of use to be better than Apple. The switching device thingie works way better with these than it ever did with my Apple ones. People I speak to often on the phone tell me they pick up my voice better, and I find I can hear phone calls much better. I also can hear Netflix etc better. When I got these, life was too insane for me to even look at or try the app or the other "ends" ... so insane I can't find these at the moment but given the price and the quality I'm back for a second pair. And once I'm done unpacking and I discover the other set I won't even feel guilty about owning two pair: I'll have one for home and one for office, or more likely a second set for when I've inevitably forgotten to charge the case. Before coming to buy a second set I did check Consumer Reports and considered a set from Apple because I have a gift card from them -- wouldn't hurt to have both an Apple and an Anker pair, no? But as of the writing of this review, this is the only pair of earbuds under $100 that scored 5/5 on noise reduction. For sound quality they're 4/5, and only 3 pairs scored 5/5 (and they're $250-350). Amazon wants me to comment on the appearance, water resistance, compatibility, and carrying case ... Eh, I guess I like that I can choose a color that stands out from wherever I set these, I like that there aren't stems sticking out of my ears (those always make me think of chicken drumsticks). The color selection isn't my favorite but it's consistent with the device manufacturers at the moment. The size and shape of the case are fine. It is difficult to figure out which earbud goes in which socket so I put a dot of nail polish on the right so I can both see and feel it (I always forget to do them one at a time).

I had never heard of Soundcore products but the price point and product reviews found on-line suggested that I should take a chance. Boy am I glad I did. They are terrific, well worth the price and the sound quality is better than my old Jabra 75 Elites. I lost one of the ear buds of my Jabra set, so I had to replace them. The Jabra Elite price more than doubled since I purchased them, so I looked elsewhere. They charge quickly, last longer than any other pair of wireless ear buds I have had, fit great and I found the sound to be extremely customizable. They are water-resistant but not water- proof, so don't go swimming. The only downside is the noise cancelling could be better but at this price point, I can't complain. It is still very good and it's not a bad thing to be aware of your surroundings.

I ordered these in Feb, '26 and was immediately impressed with them. The sound quality is quite good and while 10 hours of playtime is a bit of a stretch (In reality, I've managed to get roughly 8.5-9 hours, so not TOO much of a stretch), they easily lasted long enough on a single charge. I can't speak to the 50 hours claim, as I just keep the case plugged in. The fit is solid without any discomfort issues that I've experienced with other wireless earbuds. I have worn these while working out and had no trouble whatsoever with them. The ability to personalize the sound to your specific hearing profile is most excellent, and a greatly appreciated feature. Unfortunately within the last week or two the left earbud has gotten significantly quieter than the right, enough so that having the silicone pad on the left earbud is enough to muffle the sound to near silence. Thoroughly cleaning it has not helped, neither has altering any settings, so this will need to be replaced after just 7 months of ownership. To be fair to them, however, in that time I have racked up over 2000 hours of usage on them, but I definitely miss the days when a pair of earbuds would last for years.

These headphones are great. These are part of my every day items. I don't like to leave the house without these. (I proof read, and I'm re typing this after, sorry for sounding like an NPC haha). I have asked for a lot of feedback when I'm talking to others, because I want to make sure they aren't getting crazy feedback from my end and wind noise etc. They say I sound very clear, and they do mention some wind noise but I also have the Soundcore P40i. I just got them, and on the app for those, they have a wind reduction option. So honestly, if you want a great LOUD headphone with the Transparent mode also, go with the P40i. If you ride motorcycles especially, I would recommend these, or the soundcore buds that have transparent mode. If you ride with a helmet, these are great to be able to hear horns and ambulances without the price tag of beats, or pods. These headphones are priced so fair. The first pair I bought was the P20i. Over a year ago and still have them and they are working so well still. I just got the P40i the other day and those are the most insane sounding ear buds I've ever used. They have the most bass and clear sounding vocals I've ever heard on a headphone. Go Soundcore, go with the in the ear, ear buds though. Don't get the old school apple white corded ear phones, get the in the ear with the replaceable tips. I am in welding school and it gets loud. These help get rid of most of the noise, and have protected my ears from Sparks as well as slag(hardened flux that protects the weld, but is still soooo hot). :) if you're a reader, I hope we had some fun till now, and if not, sorry lol. Take care friends and please, give soundcore a try, their quality isn't defined by their cost. In this case, a fair cost for a GREAT product. Edit: I absolutely dislike when you accidentally drop the case. It violently opens up and the headphones launch out of it... It's one of the most ridiculous and dramatic things I've seen from electronics lol. That's my only complaint, make the not have a door that has a lot of pressure to open back up from the hinge lol. Literally shoots open and launches the headphones from like a 2 ft drop on carpet.... serious??? I shouldn't drop it, but I'm human! Lol! Edit:... Worth the occasional headphone and case pop fly lol. Like a 6 month review and these things are so great. Best headphones ever, and so comfortable after the initial 2 weeks for your ears to get used to them. They'll be a little irritated if you don't use ear buds a lot. Transparent mode is very close to real time sound. Edit Jan 5, 2025: Still my favorite headphones. They dropped like 6 inches onto the carpet and did the most dramatic jack in the box pop out. It was ridiculous. Still 10/10 Edit Mar 3,2026 Same pair, still going strong! Wearing them right now while writing his review. Battery life for the ear buds is a 7.5/10. Battery life for the case is definitely a solid 9/10. Might need to clean off the charging terminals with a Q tip. I’ve noticed that sometimes my right one doesn’t charge (I use it the most) and I just slightly clean the terminals after a few months, and it immediately receives a charge. Update: August 30, 2026. Still going strong, and shooting out of the case when I drop them lol.. Best headphones I have ever used, ever. Battery is max at 80% max charge on right ear, because my most used side, but other than that, absolutely wonderful earbuds.

Final update - the right earbud issue has yet to repeat, so that's not an issue. As I've said, I have four other top end earbuds, and the only pair I use is the Soundcore A40. We have a little land and a John Deere Z920M zero turn, and its loud. My neighbors all have the same mower, and all wear headsets. I now won't mow without my A40's, as the noise cancelling is even better than my 1 month old top end hearing aids (thanks VA). The sound is not like you're sitting in a studio listening to an album on a top end everything audio, but nothing is, so when people try comparing buds to studio headsets, I just smile. The sound is crazy good for a couple of marble sized devices that connect via a rf signal. Darn amazing. Update - I submitted a warranty claim, due to the right earbud not being active when I started this morning, but I decided to put them back into the charge case for a few minutes and it came to life. Here's to hoping this is not a new trend? Still love their sound quality, and general fitment. I have noticed that they have started to come loose when I'm bent over working in the heat. I've been tempted a couple times to buy new buds, but these are still very hard to beat. Over the last two months I've tried several earbud, all were horrible failures. These are different. Shortly after I got them I headed from N. FL to Delta Junction AK. So 9 total hours in the air both directions. While there I spent 5+ hours a day running a chainsaw, a stump grinder, and a commercial wood chipper, all while using the noise cancellation (N/C). I never ran out of battery life while running N/C, although once I left the first leg of my flights, I did put them back in the case, so each leg they were returned to full charge. Only once did I have one come lose from my right ear, and it did not fall out. Before I left I'd use them to run my John Deere commercial mower for the two hours it takes to mow the yard, and they were awesome at cutting out motor noise. Wear - With the correct tips they work flawlessly. They have a fit process called Real Ear ID (or something like that). The testing will determine the best fit and seal by running those tonal sounds you're used to in hearing test booths. I was never able to get a passed or perfect fit according to the test, and I did try three sets of the foam tips (these did not work in my ears, and they did not allow the buds to charge in the case). As I said they stay in your ears. Charging - The case is small and give you a full charge in well under an hour. There are only 3 led charge indicator lights, and I've never had less than 3 lights. The case also has the USB-C type charging port, unlike half of the other buds I tried, which still had micro USB. There are no good case covers that I found on Amazon, but I bought a soft case cover and it works ok, where I'd rather have a hard cover. Touch control - the app allows you to change the function of single, double, triple touch, and long hold. The touch is responsive, and accurate. Wear - Possibly a kind of repeat, as I've discussed fit, but I wanted to cover comfort. I do not get wear fatigue. Sound and volume - The sound is easily as good as my Samsung Ear Buds Pro with much better battery life. Volume seems to be a problem with most earbuds, but not these. I'm older with hearing loss, and like to listen to my music louder than is comfortable for most. I end up around 45% of volume for regular listening, and around 70% they become too loud, but the sound is still clear and crisp. The App - It is simple, but complete, with EQ function. I've finally found a set that I'll keep.

So I can put these in my ear and shake my head around and they stay put and feel secure. Then, randomly, later on I can be just standing and talking to someone, with little to no head movement and an earpiece can just POP out striking the concrete or tile and ricochet under the sink into the floor drain, for example. The ambient hearing setting is pretty cool, it almost works. I mean it DOES work, but it's not the same as having nothing in your ears, it's more like having only a partially effective plug in your ear. I could still hear people speaking to me, but they were muffled and harder to hear than normal. Distance sounds were much harder to hear than nearby sounds. On noise reduction mode it worked like a normal earbud and reduced outside noise. These have been the best at phone calls that I have tried lately. They quit making the bcs700 neckband which worked great for phone calls (well, worked okay, which is better than most), so I've been experimenting with all kinds of replacement ideas. These little inside the ear earbuds are comfortable, the volume is great, the caller can hear me over the background noise around me.. which is something 99% of these things fail to achieve. They're small and their case is small, so it's not as inconvenient to take them out and put them in my shirt pocket or their case if I need to talk to someone without my ears plugged. They're tough, I guess, because one of them has hit the concrete twice, the tile once, and they other hit the tile once, and so far after 1 day they haven't shattered. That's going to be a problem though. I can't have them randomly POP-ing out of my ear to go skittering off under cabinets or whatever, especially not on construction sites where I work. They'll end up in wet cement, or down a floor drain, or buried in sawdust or something one of these times. The good: comfortable, lightweight, long-lasting (8 hrs or more), good volume, almost let's you hear ambient noises when set to that function. plus they have a cool app! The best part of the whole thing is that your caller can hear you, even in a noisy work van with tools and equipment rattling. Even with the AC on and blowing at your face. Even on a jobsite where various people are running power tools in the background. That's Fracking amazing. The bad: I never could figure out where the "button" is or what makes it think there has been a press or double press. Somewhere on this little bud is a "button" that does different functions depending on if I press, double press, or long press. I assumed it would be the big flat round piece with the logo on it, but there's nothing that gives you a tactile feedback and the device doesn't always react if I press there. sometimes it does, but sometimes it reacts as if I pressed there when I'm touching only the edge.. so I'm not sure. I'm sure it says in the manual, but I'm sure I can figure this out on my own eventually without having to resort to reading the manual!! I'm not a nerd!!! Another bad thing: They randomly POP out of your ear, especially if you happen to be over tile or concrete. If you carry a flashlight in your tool bag, that can help you spot them if they end up in a floor drain or wedged in the dark recesses of a bottle caps, broken glass, in a sticky black patch of goo that was probably formed from old beer and soda, under the sink at the bar where you are working. These might be more suited to a carpeted environment so they take less impact damage. I kind of wish I had bought some with an ear-hook so that if the bud part popped out at least it wouldn't fall to the ground. I'm going to try these another day or two, try some different eartips and see if I can reduce the POPout.

These are pretty good little earbuds! I was initially skeptical after coming from airpod pro gen 1's, but I was absolutely not going to pay that price again. I primarily use bluetooth earbuds when I'm commuting on my motorcycle, and I know it's a weird use case, but these work fantastic. They don't shift around much when you put the helmet on thanks to their small form-factor, and they sound pretty good. Noise cancelling underneath a helmet is genuinely unusable though - the wind noise freaks out the mics and it's no good. Thankfully, in the Soundcore app, you can turn off the shortcut gestures that let you change the listening mode, pause, play, etc. and just use them like regular earbuds. Sound quality isn't amazing, but once you get it tuned in for your personal preferences and type of music, it's really not bad. One of the most impressive things about these is the battery life - I use them pretty often and it seems like I barely have to charge them. We'll see how long that lasts. Overall, these are nice earbuds! Yes, I use them in a weird scenario that a vast majority of people don't use them for, but if you happen to need a pair for your helmet, these are a great pick.

Writing this after less than 24 hours of use, so can't speak to longevity. I was previously using Beats Studio Buds from 2021 until yesterday, April 2026. After HEAVY daily use, my Beats buds finally kicked the bucket. I am not in the financial position I was in when I bought the name-brand earbuds, so I was looking for a more budget friendly option without losing too much of the quality I was accustomed to. I like that the case is slightly smaller because I do carry my earbuds around in a case hooked to my keys. Still waiting for my case to arrive, but they'll be taking up less space than my previous pair. One thing I noticed is that they connect MUCH faster than my Beats did. There is no lag at all, the second I take them out of the case, they pair. Beats fit more snugly and a bit more comfortably, but after swapping the rubber heads to a size up, these fit nicely. Still adjusting to how they feel in my ear, but that seems to be a familiarity issue rather than a flaw. I have not yet worn them during exercise so I can't speak to how well they stay in, but I haven't had any issues using them at my office job. Noise cancellation was not my main priority because I usually only have one bud in at work, and if I'm exercising outdoors I like to have awareness of my surroundings, but I do think the noise cancellation is better on these than on my beats. I've noticed even with only one earbud in, I've not noticed people talking to me as easily. The case charged up very quickly to a full charge and I've had one earbud in for the better part of an 8 hour shift and it's still working great. Another feature I think is SO smart is that the rubber pieces that insert into your ear also have a mesh pattern which covers the actual wire mesh filter that sits inside the earbud preventing that from falling out or, worse, into your ear. Those mesh filters on my Beats constantly fell out and have been lost for a very long time. I'm no advanced audiophile, but to me the sound quality is more or less the same as before. At the very least, there is nothing about the Beats buds that are worth roughly $100 more than these. I have not tested the microphone for phone calls, and I won't be, it's just not something I use or need. I do think that they should have come with a carrying case due to how small and sleek the case itself is. Easy to remedy with a case ordered separately, but it would have made them feel more high quality. Initial pairing was common sense but a gripe I had was that the instructions were images only, no written text, and I had to find out from a YouTube comment section that for them to pair successfully you have to remove the buds and remove a teeny tiny piece of film off the bottom of the buds. The instructions neither pictured nor mentioned anything about that and it would have saved some frustration and extra googling had that been included. If these can last as long as my Beats Studio Buds did, then I can't think of a reason to pay the premium for a name brand earbud. Very pleased!

Ich habe diese Kopfhörer vor allem gekauft, um beim Einschlafen Hörbuch zu hören. Ich hatte auch die neuesten Schlafkopfhörer von Anker getestet - Leistung und Preis haben da aber für mich nicht zusammengepasst. Die Space A40 sind für mich perfekt: sie drücken nicht, sind leicht und klein genug, das ANC ist gut genug, um störende Geräusche beim Einschlafen zu unterdrücken, rauscht aber leicht. Der Sound ist für den genannten Zweck ausreichend, für Musik würden sie mir nicht genügen (aber ich habe auch hohe Ansprüche). Nachts irgendwann fallen sie mir aus den Ohren, aber das ist für mich nicht weiter schlimm - weit weg können sie ja nicht sein. Außerdem positiv: die Touchbedienung an den Stöpseln lässt sich in der App komplett deaktivieren und an den Stöpseln selbst gibt es keine störenden LEDs. Bei der Art wie ich die Kopfhörer verwende, muss ich das Case nicht oft laden, maximal einmal in der Woche. Fazit: für mich sind das gute Schlafkopfhörer für einen fairen Preis.

I lost my AirPods and wanted to buy a replacement without spending too much. Read glowing reviews online and went ahead and bought on Amazon.SG. Delivery was very quick, setting up was easy and works as promised. Noise cancellation is reasonably good too.

Great audio for the price, noise cancellation works great in the office.

Great value for money, amazing base, perfect mic, very light on ears. i used to use Samsung Galaxy bud 2 Pro but after using Soundcore A40, i have realised it is much better in terms of call quality, music perhaps the same (but in nearly half the price of samsung buds). 3D sound is not so great though, but overall great music and call experience.
