Amazing product as long as you know how it works!
Iโm very ROM and emulator savvy so I understand how it works itโs easy once you know what youโre doing but is kind of awkward to learn? If you donโt know anything about this kind of stuff I would still recommend if you like the regular games it comes with! And if you do know how these types of handhelds work 10/10 would recommend! It runs all my games amazingly my only personal issue is the gba fast forward isnโt very fast cause itโs got a different gba emulator than Iโm use to but aside from that itโs amazing! I even got a second Ambernic handheld the RG505 so I can play 3ds and ps2 games on top of all the games this system runs Iโm addicted!!! If Iโm not working or recording music Iโm GLUED to these things!!!!!! I see some people giving it bad reviews cause it had no games or didnโt have any games they wanted or liked. Well I can assure you it has games and if it doesnโt either they didnโt send you the second sd card, you lost the sd card unpacking it or you set it up wrong? Haha and you can add whatever games you want and even buy a bigger sd card to fit more games! On a side note my friend actually bought two of these awhile back and both he told me had no games or wouldnโt run anything and all I did was put the 2nd and card in and boom 4500 games just like that I even showed him how to put more games on it from his computer he really thought they were just broken and that he wasted $300 buying 2 of them and itโs funny to me cause heโs way more tech savvy than I am so Iโm happy I could help him haha anyway this is my first review on literally anything ever in my entire life and it will probably be my only review on anything ever in my entire life cause thatโs how much I love these things haha okay peace out

honestly pretty damn good
handles most everything you can I expect this to handle, but doesnโt really do PSP games all that well. But it works really well for everything before that

Favorite ANBERNIC out of 6 !
I have or have used RG280, RG351MP, RG552, RGNano, and now this RG353V. This might be might favorite of them all. It is slightly more hand cramped than the horizontal style, I never had a gameboy, but I think the screen being full and at the top makes it worth it. I have only use the included OS and I believe that they have really improved how they set these up because of Retro Russ among others. I don't know technical gibberish, but I do know when i see 'Core remap file loaded' that they did something to make the games look better, built-in this time. BIG SCREEN, just get an HDMI cord to connect to your big tv, and then even better, connect a game controller by bluetooth and this little system becomes an instant huge system you can sit across the room and play with a PS4 bluetooth controller. I have not successfully figured out how to always connect the game controllers, but when they work it's awesome, and you do have to remap them and set some hotkey buttons so that you can actually quit the game but once you figure that out it's great.

It is fun but you might have to replace non working ROMS on your own.
The RG353V is a lot of fun. Just remember when unboxing it, to look under the removable try to get the 2nd Micro SD card. The 2nd card has the games. There are a lot of game categories going up until dreamcast, I love dreamcast. I added my favorites to the card with a laptop on my own. I have had no luck getting any of the pre-installed N64 games to work, so I am sure I'll have to replace those all on my own. I have connected a Mini-hdmi cable to have it play on a TV. Make sure the cable is connected. Connecting Bluetooth controllers worked well, it just won't be player 1 as far as my experience. Player one is the physical controller built into the device. If you have experience with ROMS and emulators, this will be a lot of fun.

No games on mine
I think you just downloaded apk on a SD card to be able to play the games as advertised

Fantastic little Gaming Handheld for the kids... AND maybe YOU TOO!
This handheld is AWESOME. If you are OLD like me, you'll remember the original Gameboy and how it was LARGER than this, and couldn't even play games in any colour! This device is smaller than that and the amount of games is STAGGERING. My kids love to play on it and they really enjoy the variety of games that they can enjoy. Battery life is decent, but the charging time is EXCELLENT. With the right FAST charge cable this can go from 0-100% in less than 2 hours, while draining it takes around 5-6 hrs of HEAVY gameplay on the device. What more can I say, this is a MUST BUY for any parent not willing to shell out Hundreds on the latest portable console while still providing great entertainment for your kids, (or you even) while on the go! :-)

Works great until just after the support window closes, then it bricks.
After normal, light usage (<5 hours of use a week), this has worked great for over 3 months now, and was able to take on every rom I threw at it across multiple consols. I haven't found a game that doesn't work yet, besides minor issues related to controller compatibility re: Nintendo DS. When it works though, it works great and has been a lot of fun using it to go down memory lane playing all the old N64 games I grew up with. After just 3 months of use though and seemingly out of the blue, I run into an issue where the screen turns on, but the OS fails to boot anything. After troubleshooting the issue myself (Flashed the SD card, etc), I attempted to enter a support ticket on Anbernic's site where unfortunately I was told that because this was an Amazon purchase they're unable to help with support tickets. Low and behold, Amazon's product support window for this purchase expired just a week and a half ago now. So now, not only am I unable to fix the problem myself, I'll likely be forced to either sell for parts or watch it be thrown in a landfill somewhere. Very disappointed, as I've heard nothing but amazing things from Anbernic and what they're doing for emulator gaming. Likely will not purchase from them again unless their own product support can be of any help.

Sweet little Handheld
This little handheld is almost perfect. The second SD card holds all the games. Now, if you're hoping this will have any Nintendo games on it, it won't. But, just pick up a microSD card reader that can transfer data from your computer and you can download whatever ROMs you like. Battery life is good and the stock OS in my opinion is totally fine to use right out the gate.
