Black's Law Dictionary, 12th Edition

Worth every penny.

This is a very well made, and comprehensive book of legal terminology. A great dictionary to keep on your bookshelf.

If you need a law dictionary, at the time of this writing, this is the one you should buy (BUT CHECK TO MAKE SURE THERE ISN’t A MORE RECENT VERSION BEFORE BUYING).

Great shape fast ship

I bought my first Black's as a 1L in 1973. Still have it. Along with one or two others along the way. I am still writing, so it is nice to have the latest edition. I had a professor in law school who said he never changed the questions on the exam, only the answers. So true. Same can be said of this: same terms, evolving definitions. Still, I miss the case citations that were done away with several editions ago.

This book is great for the review of legal terms. As a certified paralegal I have to know what a lot of legal terms mean.
