Dimex EasyFlex Plastic P-Profile Dock Edging

Product is exactly what I expected, great. Unfortunately the roll-up packaging makes for difficult installation and poor fit/finish. About 2/3-3/4 way down the roll the thick/tough material has re-formed to such a tight radius that it's very difficult to work with/install. If you can muscle it straight enough to anchor, you're left with ripples in the upper edge that appears rather unsightly. I can't speak for long-term finish, but I can't imagine it smoothing out at a reasonable enough level for say a few weeks out home showing (this instance). Hopd this is helpful in some way.

As shown it is a flat layout off-rolled from a coil.As delivered the coil was in a box twisted and not flat. Attempts to stretch is out in the sun to flatten out failed. It will not apply to my dock.Ordered three rolls. Shipped as three individual shipments. All three had the same problem listed above. Also, each box arrived opened.

This is a great buy and a great product. It works great for my dock. I used 8 feet of it to go around the bow on my pontoon boat as a rub rail. It looks professional and shipshape. It's very stiff right out of the box. Let it sit in the Sun for about 15 to 30 minutes and it's flexible and easy to install. I would not hesitate to buy it once again. I'm a satisfied customer.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Its made of high quality material and the bumper is heavy duty. The only problem is that it looks terrible after installing this due to ripples in the top mounting strip that happens to also be the most visible part. I tried straightening it with boards for a few days before installing but it still has ripples. I might need to find some sort of rigid strip to bolt on top of it to hide the unpleasant appearance.

We received 2 of these for our dock. One was rolled with the flat side in and was very nice. The other was rolled the opposite way and was rippled and would not lay flat. We requested and received a replacement so we're happy with the overall results.

Refurbished the dock and used 200+ feet of this black edging. Easy to install with stainless decking screws/cup washers every 5 inches. Should last many years. Good value too.

So far is good. Only been installed for a week, but it really improved the look of the dock. The material was easy to drill through using Dimex's self-tapping screws. It is a little tough as a one man job to get it straightened out from being coiled in box. Also a little tough to get it around a 90 degree corner.

Does the job. Black hides the mildew stains, but it bakes in the Sun. Hot to the touch. Covers up the dock end boards nicely.

LOVE! works awesome. They recommend 2 diff size screws ..bigger = better and do not screw the smaller ones down too low or the corner ones baring most force can slide under the rubber ..larger screw heads are better and don't drill them down too tightly ..tight ..but not pressing down into rubber too much. Great price great product and flattened fast in sun ..no ripples as some said ...we love it!!! Doing it's job! :). PS you will see the "smaller" recommended screws that we used to attach the product. The wider screw heads would have been better, although the smaller did the job ok as you can see.

This is really not a great product. It has a very low elevation and I think won't really provide much protection against more than a 10 foot long boat from bumping on a wooden dock float in the ocean. Maybe it would be suitable if you have a small boat on a lake. I would return this but didn't look at installing it until after the return window over

Good product that is easy to install. Upper lip could be a bit wider but was still good. Used washers with deck screws for installation.

Very durable and is going to work great on my dock. Only complaint is that they don't come with the holes for drilling into the dock. Not a big concern though. Overall happy with the product.

The instructions were very helpful, the installation went well and it looks and functions as well expected!
