So far so good
I honestly did not have high expectations, but wow, these have held up so far. They didn't work where I originally wanted them to on my Uforce 1000,but they did work for a 20' light bar on the back of the roof. I did not expect them to hold the weight of the light bar, but 3 days of off road trail riding it has not budged. Very impressive. No drilling into anything.

A good way to mount pod or "ditch" lights when there is no bracket available.
The are a good value and a great way to mount pod or ditch lights to a vehicle when there aren't any hood hinge or pillar brackets/mounts available. There is the risk of damage to your hood, or the paint so be careful when tightening the screws. Also make sure to clean the areas you'll be placing these, and the rubber inserts so neither have any grime that can scratch the paint.

Secure mount
Used them as a bumper mount for a set of Nilight lights. I switched the Allen head set screws for 10-32 1/2” bolts. This gave me a little more length to tighten the brackets down tight. A little lock tight and very snug and secure. Probably wouldn’t need the longer screws for a hood mount. They stay tight even on the gravel roads heading to our camp sight.

Cheap
One of them was good the second one stripped really easy and would not hold the light still very disappointing

Work great!
Great value, hold well, not old enough yet so see how the finish holds or if it rusts, look great

That grip
Bro I put some cubes on these n clamped it to my hood. I be going 100+. maybe. And they hold on! Doesn’t move or anything. The baby screws u see at the bottom are there for u to screw them on tight. You have to make sure all of them are tight because they hold up a plate that’s used for the clamp. If the plate wasn’t there then you would leave holes on ur vehicle. It’s wonderful. Easy to instal n remove to move around. Ima buy more n use them to add more lights to my jeep instead of getting the bigger bulky brackets because those sometimes leave marks on my paint.

Huge Disappointment From One of my Favorite Vehicle Accessory Companies
I purchased these mounting brackets to attach two fog/driving lights to my Mazda5 for additional lighting and better visibility in foggy conditions. I really had a good experience with Nilight products in the past and figured why take a chance when reviews on similar products complain about corrosion and mounts loosening up or detaching from vehicles. When I first mounted the bracket and attached the light, all was great and alignment looked doable. Drove 14 hours in the Thanksgiving rush to pick up my kid from school. Mount stayed secure but the center of the beam hit about 5-10 ft in front of the car. So the next day I went to adjust the light and realized I was at my light’s vertical limit so the slope of hood was too much for the pods. Not great but my fault not Nilight’s. I disassembled the mount and then my disappointment began.First, the knurled Allen head bolt to mount the light to the bracket went through the rubber pad and created a circular scratch through the clear coat and paint. This product clearly needs either something to limit or block the bolt from being driven beyond the upper metal bracket. This could easily be accomplished with another thin metal plate inside the rubber cover or fabricating the plate so the bolt bottoms out. Another fix is to press or weld a stud to the plate and use a nut to mount the light. Additionally, the lower plate actually created an indentation under my hood where it was secured. So overall, it’s easy to install, and holds a 4” pod very securely. Unfortunately, mounting options are limited to a nearly flat horizontal surface and may damage your vehicle’s finish. Now I get to go look for another mounting option and buy some touch up paint before it starts to form a layer of rust.
