First impressions:Compared to other primers I have tried (from Loreal and Revlon to name a few) I was surprised at how silky this primer felt. It took a little getting used to at first, but it was actually very pleasant.Application and quality:As for how it worked as a base, I am very pleased with it. It made the application of my foundation super smooth and did a good job blurring my pores. I am prone to oil on certain parts of my face, and was a bit worried that the hydrating aspect of the primer and the silkiness might contribute to an oily appearance, but with my use of it so far, I've not had any such troubles. It leaves my skin nice and matt, but feeling hydrated.It's incredibly lightweight, so it's fantastic if you don't like the feeling of having a lot on your skin.Value for money:I would say it's worth it. The price seems standard for primer, the quality is great, and a little primer goes a long way so it should last a while.

I’ve been using the e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer for a few weeks now, and honestly—it’s a solid budget-friendly option. It has a silky, almost silicone-like texture that glides on smoothly and does a decent job of blurring pores and fine lines. My makeup goes on more evenly and stays in place longer.That said, it can feel a bit heavy or greasy if you use too much, and it might not be the best for super oily skin. But for the price, it’s a great everyday primer that gets the job done.Rating: 3.5/5 – affordable, smooth, but best for normal to dry skin.

I'm not so keen on the initial smell of this E.L.F poreless primer but the smell does not linger, unlike the wonderful effect on my skin. Such a lovely smooth base, I wear without foundation and I love it.Will be buying it again!

I like Elf products and I think they’re really good. I think though that this is overpriced on Amazon and although it’s a good product I think it may be a bit expensive for what it is

Love this primer, it leaves your skin feeling soft and works as a brilliant base to apply foundation on top of. It doesn't dry super sticky but instead leaves your skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth.Only gave 4 stars as if you don't apply a powder or setting spray over your foundation, it does come off easily due to the primer being so smooth.

Excellent, especially for the price! This helps to even out any minor skin marks, and works extremely well as a primer.
