This shampoo leaves my hair crystal clean. It helped to remove the old temporary color that kept bleeding with every wash, previously. Took maybe 4-5 washes! It smells good and leaves my hair soft and shiny. Gets the job done!

Love this clarifying shampoo. It’s not too harsh on your hair I’ve noticed way less buildup on my scalp and hair after adding this to my routine. I like to pair it with a nourishing, hydrating shampoo. my hair and scalp has never felt better!

I was honestly surprised by how well this shampoo cleaned my hair. It gives a deep, refreshed feeling that I notice right away, especially when I’ve used a lot of styling products. After rinsing, my hair feels lighter and looks brighter without feeling stripped or rough. The scent is soft and clean, and it lathers better than most clarifying shampoos I’ve tried. I also like that my hair doesn’t get frizzy afterward, which is something I usually expect with clarifying formulas. If you want something that clears out buildup and makes your hair feel reset without leaving it dry, this one works really well.

This is a good shampoo, it will come in handy when I want to wash out excess products in my hair. It does clean well and I hope it makes my hair healthier. It does leave my hair feeling dry after I wash it but I follow up with a conditioner to obtain the softness that I like, this has healthier ingredients compared to others which I appreciate.

I just had to write this review… I have long fine hair, and am always looking for the best products for my hair. When I moved to the country, the well water here ruined my hair! It literally broke off, fell out, and went from waist length to shoulder length. My hair was like dry brittle straw. It eventually adjusted to the shock of the water, but it took two years in combination with the use of high end products to get my length & health back. Even though it was better than it was, no matter what I used, I never did get that glassy silky healthy look that is sometimes hard to achieve even with soft water. I was tired of spending money, and slathering my hair with everything under the sun in attempt to find my way back to hair perfection, I felt doomed, but held some hope of a miracle, so I did some lengthy research, and discovered that you need a clarifying shampoo to achieve the clean, light weight, smooth & glossy soft hair that only dolls seem to have lol. There were many choices out there, but I decided on this one; mainly because I read that it removes hard well water impurities. I got impatient and went to the store same day I ordered this, and bought a common name brand clarifying shampoo, because I wanted to use a glossing shampoo afterwards. I do color my hair, and after using the store bought clarifying shampoo I realized that I would need to color sooner than usual —it slightly stopped my color. Not only that, but the static cling was horrible, and my hair once it was dry lacked flexibility. It was on the brittle side. Just not good at all. It smelled alright, but I just wasn’t impressed at all. The day my package arrived I was excited to try my new Odell clarifying shampoo, but was a bit leery considering the experience I had with the common one I purchased at the store. Plus, I had just recolored my hair. This was my experience… I couldn’t read the bottle because I didn’t have my glasses on, so I can’t comment on that right now, but it smells nice. A soft neutral clean smell. I poured out about a quarter size, and let me tell you that a little goes a long way. The texture is perfect, and the more you scrub, the more it lathers. Nice, thick & rich —so nice! I could use less for sure. I was able to wash & rinse my hair without it clumping, or sticking together. It actually felt clean… my scalp was clean as well. Anyone with long hair knows that’s a nightmare to rinse out, and brush out your hair with shampoo that clumps your hair. This product left my hair smooth, and easy to brush, and didn’t affect my color at all. I tried it without conditioner the first time, because I wanted to see how it performs in its raw form. The result… Clean, shiny, soft, smooth, beautiful healthy hair. With no itchy, or tight scalp. I am do impressed! My hair hasn’t been this good in years. I wish I had taken before & after photos, because the difference is visibly amazing! I have now washed it a second time —with conditioner. Omg… I am sold on this product that has transformed my dull, brittle, unhealthy hair into something that a very pricey item I get at Sephora has not been able to do. I can not wait to now order their shampoo & conditioner to see how the entire system works together. I very highly recommend this product. Have ordered before and works great, my first wash is always with this bc our water is hard and has so much chlorine in it bc it’s well-water. I also have very curly past my shoulders grey hair that takes on a lot of product buildup since I only wash once a wk. This gets it good and clean, ready for my next product routine. Lasts awhile based on how I use it too so I recommend, just not for multiple washes per wk, it could potentially strip all the natural oils.

This shampoo does a good job of removing buildup and leaving hair feeling very clean. That said, it can be quite drying, especially if used too often. I would recommend following up with a good conditioner and using it as an occasional clarifying wash rather than a regular shampoo.

I used this for the first time after not washing my hair for around 10 days and had a lot of product buildup. After one wash, my buildup was gone! It is pretty strong, so you need a good conditioner to use after. Compared to other shampoos, this one is very reasonably priced!
