I actually got to use this today and sure enough, it holds my wound closed exactly as described, it took away all my pain because my wound is now secure and held together and it was easy to apply on my own using only my one good hand. I don't write reviews on things very often, but these things are so cool. I bought them because I was looking for something to replace stitches if I was out in the wilderness. I was amazed to only find one thing that didn't require two hands to pull it closed, and that simply used the fact that it stretches to hold the wound closed, rather than using zip ties. I'm amazed that these things aren't more commonly found. Whoever invented them is a genius and they need to be available in stores and their creator needs to be rich.

These are great for cuts that are not quite in need of stitches, but deep enough that a band-aid won't help. My son ended up with a 3+ inch slice down the bottom of his foot and this was the only thing we tried that actually held the wound closed. It sticks well, especially in places that have curved areas like a foot or hand. It's not bulky or uncomfortable. Would go straight to these next time (hopefully there's not a next time).

Like to always keep these on hand work very well.

I sliced my finger pretty bad and need it something to keep my the cut closed. This worked and it healed as expected.

Recently had to use these with my husband who would not go get stitches for a head wound(he was fine as an emt he knew it was just a superficial wound 🙄) buuuuut it was a split in the skin that definitely could of used stitches! He has naturally oily skin so I was worried it wouldn’t stick but also being on his head and in his hair I had little hope but it’s the only thing I had besides small butterfly bandages. It stuck! On the little head skin a was able to part in stuck and kept it closed for a couple days which was better than anything else I could have done. Only thing is I wish I would have cut it long ways smaller and I’m sure it would have been perfect either way I will say I will definitely use these again especially for the wounds that need stitches that some people won’t get stitches for 🫣 Will add the head/hair was washed well before putting the adhesive on skin. And I didn’t shave any hair I just combed and moved as much as I could to get to stick to the base of the scalp.

They might not stick if u don't clean the wound good enough and shave if your a guy i didn't need to but hair seems to be a test for it but a honest review this is currently holding my wound closed because I had a allergic reaction to sutures I used it never knew I was allergic but now I know and these are holding it the last 8 days of healing I will update if they tear or fail within the 7 day healing period for a normal wound like these are used on if I do not update in 7 days by Jan 14th that means they worked I highly recommend them as of right.now.
