This is my first real yoga mat, after only using the ones at the studio and then during lockdown I either practiced on a carpet (bad idea) or on a basic PVC mat (which was crumbling after being washed in the laundry) and it's just everything I wanted.I looked for a mat for a few months as I started practicing at home, and this was the first mat that ticked all my requirements: decent price, sustainability-aware brand and production, rubber, anti-slip, pretty looking and the perfect thickness. And as a bonus: from a women-led company. I also love that it's smooth and doesn't have that PVC square texture because my kitten doesn't have the urge to scratch it haha.I use it twice a week and love it. The mat really doesn't slip. It's very comfortable to practice on - stable and yet cushioned enough.It does catch dust and hairs quite easily (especially on the bottom side) and it's not as easy to brush it off - I gently vacuum it from time to time. Cleaning according to the instructions is fine.

I practice yoga most days, but my cat had taken chunks out of my previous mat with her claws. So I decided it was time for a new one, and this rubber mat caught my eye. I'd also seen someone using one in a class, and she was happy with it. I bought the green one, and love the colour and the subtly attractive design printed on it. It is completely non-slip - so it feels very different to use from every mat I've used in the past. It's thin, but that doesn't seem to make any difference to the comfort. I was worried that the smell might be overpowering, but I barely notice it - having said that, my sense of smell is quite poor generally, so someone more sensitive to smell might have a different opinion. If you are thinking about buying this mat, the 'negative' points are that it is heavier than a regular mat, so that could be a factor if you're planning to take it to classes with you (I mostly practice at home, so the weight is not a problem); and it does seem to mark rather easily. I was relieved that the marks cleaned off fine, but check the care instructions for what to use before you chuck any old cleaning product on it. Overall I am very happy with this mat, it feels like a real step up from anything I've used before.

This is a great mat, and worth the price - it’s attractive, well-made, and doesn’t slide around even after the floors of our leisure center get polished. The mid-dark green color is lovely… I’m the envy of my class 😁

The green is a super mellow and relaxing colour, the print is enchanting and it's a good, solid, weighty mat that doesn't slip. Only used once so no idea yet about durability. Bought at 25% off which makes it very good value. Unlike some other reviewers the mat arrived in pristine condition and is unmarked. Only 1 slight downside - with a smooth top surface any small pieces of grit off the soles of your feet are more noticeable.Disappointed it had to be made in China and shipped a long way.

The mat is really great and delivery was fab, expect was delivered with a black mark at the top I cannot wipe off. Would the seller be able to contact me please to rectify this please. Many thanks 😊

I purchased this rubber mat to replace a much cheaper one because I had started to slip a bit during poses. This rubber mat is VERY non slip and makes for a perfect platform . The poses are easier to hold. Well worth the investment.

Used this yoga mat for the first time yesterday and loce it, so comfortable. Gave my knees the extra padding they need. Alao bonus that it is non slip. Slighty bigger than my previous mat which is another plus. Really good value for money.

The yoga mat stains very easy. It arrived in the post with stains on it. A wet trainer has since left a stain as well as food accidentally put on it (the food was in a package) and face oil. I have only used it twice and it’s covered in stains. Very disappointed considering the cost

First off it just looks awesome. The print on is visually appealing without looking too ... new-agey. The weight of it when you carry it just tells you that you're going to have a good and supported session.Now about the grip factor; if you're practicing in a non-heated environment, you can hold poses all day and won't ever have to worry about slipping and sliding. However, it appears to absorb moisture and if it gets soaked with sweat, it becomes slippery. So just keep that in mind.Also, don't use a broom on it like I did! It will scratch it :(.

We have a lot of yoga mats in our household: a Liforme, a Manduka, and three Heathyoga mats.Seems odd to have so many mats; but we do a lot of yoga.Point is: I know what I’m talking about when it comes to mats.This Yogi Bare mat easily competes with Liforme and Manduka. In fact, I prefer it over the other two brands.It’s less expensive; it doesn’t biodegrade in three years (as far as I know) like a Liforme. And it’s just higher quality than a Manduka mat.If you want a little more cushion in your practice, go with Heathyoga. If you want a serious mat that will help you go deeper into poses, Yogi Bare will take you there.

Amazing mat. I've never slipped; it absorbs my sweat. I also like the subtle pattern on it because it helps me stay aligned.
