Very loud, very easy to work, a very visual deterrent. Great purchase.
During the pandemic I have been taking long walks of 2-3 hours on my own.. I walk through heavily wooded areas, over remote fields and along quarry edges. I suddenly thought at 60 I’m a bit vulnerable so started to investigate personal alarms to attach on the waistband of my day sack.I’m very impressed by these and chose them over others because they come with a pack of about 8 spare batteries. The sound is extra loud. They are very easy to work and to silence again. The colour variations work well, two more subdued and two vibrant.I kept 2 and gave one each to two of my girlfriends who also exercise outdoors on their own. They were very pleased too.Would highly recommend. A nice size too to attach to a handbag or rucksack.

Handy Deterrent
I waited until the next door neighbour was out and then went into the back garden to test - they certainly make a piercing sound! (All four worked!). The contact pin is easy to pull and insert back again. The LED light is a bonus and is very bright. I keep one downstairs, one upstairs, one for the car and one for my bag. Although if out and about walking I will be keeping the alarm in my hand . Heaven forbid if anyone tried anything you would need quick access and not have time to open or rummage in a bag or even a pocket. I am just pleased that I took lessons in self defence - talk about sign of the times! Highly recommend - after all, every little helps.

Good when it works
The alarms are noisy and when they work they are very loud. Told my wife to have one on the outside of her handbag and another on her key chain. If attacked she can pull the switch and throw it away from the attacker. In a hi-jack situation pull the pin and let them have the car, they won't drive far with that level of noise.However only three of the four units worked hence only two stars.Additional bonus of an LED light.

We should all have one
I bought several as Christmas presents as I strongly believe we should all carry one of these alarms - especially dog walkers and runners. I only put 4 rather than 5 because they warn that the noise is so great (not like a car alarm that everyone ignores) that I took their word for it.

Very loud and affordable personal alarm
I bought these for my wife and daughter. These came in a set of 4 alarms and with 10 extra LR44 batteries. I found them to be very loud indeed. The activation cord is within easy reach but not too loose to be activated inadvertently. Reinserting the the cord deactivates it. All 4 units work well. The torchlight is not the brightest but good to have it nonetheless.

Only 3 out of 4 work
The 3 alarms that work are great very loud which is what I wanted, however one of the alarms don’t work and I can’t see an option to email the company to get just one replacement as the others are fine I don’t want to send them all back just the broken one but there seems to be no option for thisEditI have edited my review and changed 3 star to 5 star. I managed to get the link to this company and send them an email. They returned my email within 24 hours with an apology and I received a complete new pack of alarms the day after. Thank you for your quick response and great customer service

Extremely loud, without being to big.
These are fantastic, you can choose your colour so they dont stand out to much. Size is great. Extremely easy to set it off. Which hopefully you wont need to set it of, but if you do, people will hear it for sure. Very pleased with delivery and price. Strongly recommend. Thank you. Donna

A good noise, attention deterrent
Nice and easy to hold. Thd perfect size to keep in your handbag of pocket. The light facility is very good. Nice and bright.If you use it once then don't expect more than a few uses from it before it packs up and just makes a twittering noise. I tested how long thd alarm would run for. Boy is it loud!!
