Great for small brush cleaning
The handle was too short for my use. I added a 36” handle and now it’s the perfect tool for clearing brush and Cleaning fence lines. It was easy to fit as I had the other handle for a pattern

Too heavy for me
The blade is really heavy and sharp..but the handle is short and slick. It would be a good choice if you put your own handle, definitely think it would be great for chopping branches tho.

Measurements, Specs, Opinions
First off, I'm totally happy with this item. $14 - Nice heavy chopping thing. Deal. A great choice when you don't want to mess up a more expensive tool.To clear up some confusion - The item description is all wonky. Just use the pictures, decent judgement and maybe this review for clarification. All measurements are using MY tool, using my tape measure, with my eyes and math.It is NOT a "Survival Sickle" or "Kukri". It does NOT have "a razor-sharp 18" serrated blade".. Zero serrations, not 18 inches.What it is: Made of a decent tool steel. Metal tool is 13 1/2 inches overall. Blade is 9 1/2 inches. Sharp Edge is 9 inches.Blade Thickness is 3 mm ( about 1/8 inch).NOTE: The blade is "T" topped. The top of the "T" is about 1/4 inch wide ( twice as thick as the rest of the blade). A big plus for those wishing to Baton ( whack) the backside of their tool. A "T", not a "V".Wood handle is 12 inches, fits tool well.Tool with handle measures 22 1/4 inches when assembled.Safety: Install the Nail ( unlike the person in the pictures). *I* am going to use a good quality ( and thicker) screw myself.Safety: No one has mentioned this that I've seen, but a sheath or blade cover would've been really nice. What are you gonna do with it during all the time when you are NOT using it?

Deceitful.
The description mentions Cold Steel. It is NOT a Cold Steel product. I could have bought the same item for a dollar less from another seller. So, deceit right there. The picture shows the assembled tool at 26". They're 4" short. I'm going to buy a shovel handle and install the blade on that. Overall, the blade looks ok. Don't buy from this LLARGUEST.

Nice machete but handle is shorter than I imagined.

Save Your Money
The blade is okay but the handle is minimal, at best. Much too short for such a tool, although you can always put your own handle on it.
