Assembly was pretty simple. I was worried that the drawer to discard the waste would be unstable but it’s been perfect and slides perfectly. The overall design of the cage is great. The frame of it is metal with top and bottom being glass. With those parts being plastic, it is very well made and does not look cheap at all.The cage itself is perfect for my parakeets. Plenty of room to fly and have extras like perches, toys, and ladders.Only issue I came across was the plastic food and water containers which was an easy solution. My birds had trouble with both of them being on the perch and one would try to go on the top of the top part of the container and slid off easily from the type of plastic it’s make of. I bought a platform that fit under both the food and water containers and now they can both feed from it!Overall a great purchase though!

This cage is beautiful! It is also plenty spacious enough for up to a couple of parakeets; even a couple of cockatiels if they get out often. I have my one parakeet in it and it is plenty big enough for her and her toys. Putting it together is really straightforward. The directions are clear and it even comes with a real screw driver. The doors seem slightly off from each other but that could be user error on my part. The feed cups are high quality plastic. The grill can slide out after you slide the tray out. That slide out tray is a real winner and will greatly contribute to ease of cleaning. It’s also deep to accommodate different substrates. There are several extra doors to accommodate accessories. The cage itself seems strong and sturdy. Another great feature is how this cage easily converts into a play top cage. The value at the price point I got it for is great.

I absolutely love this cage, I love that I can see directly to my bird. It is such a beautiful design, and I will say was a little work to put together but following the instructions made it quick and easy! I love that you can put your pet’s name as a decal on the glass too. Perfect cage for a small bird. Bottom and top of cage are plastic.

It was a bit difficult to install. There were two screws that were difficult to work with a screwdriver, so we used an electric screwdriver to complete it. But it’s truly a sturdy and pretty cage for our budgies!

To be fair, this unit is as is explained and shows in the pictures. it's a Wonderful clean look, glass enclosure with slide out tray and screen. The Cavet here is Prevue does not make a stand for this unit. Therefore, unless you have a large flat surface (table, other surface) you will not be able to functionally use this for "easy" cleaning. I contacted prevue and they were unable to provide assistance. While the four corners will support this function, anything smaller puts the cage weight on the actual drawer assembly rendering it non-functional. Still looking for a solution and will update as able.

My cockatiel love this cage. Plenty of room for lots of toys, ladder and extra perches. Easy to keep clean with the pull out tray. The plexi front is great for visibility
