Purchased these for the wife as she's just got into running and she loves them!!In ear buds are no good due to earrings and can style headphones are too heavy and get too sweaty. They are lightweight, the sound is really good and clear. No idea how they really work but they just do!! They fit all shapes and sizes of heads as loads of us have gve them a go. Shes easily put hundreds of hours into them, so very durable and they've been great value for money. The headphones have volume buttons and work with Bluetooth so easy to stop / pause / play without having to use your phone!Excellent purchase.

Versatile, comfortable, and reliable. Perfect even for work and casual gaming.
I’ve been using the SHOKZ OpenRun headphones every workday for the past ten months, mainly for business calls, and I can confidently say they’ve exceeded expectations. What initially drew me in was the open-ear design, which has changed how I work and move through the day. No more ear irritation, no discomfort from having something stuck in my ear for hours. A lightweight, secure fit that I often forget I’m even wearing. Despite their simplicity, they never slip out of place. The sound quality is solid, especially when you consider the bone conduction technology. It’s not meant for rich bass or ultra-precise clarity, so if you’re an audiophile or music producer, this might not be for you. But for calls, podcasts, or background music, it does the job very well. There’s a bit of sound leakage at higher volumes, but honestly, the vibration becomes uncomfortable at that point anyway. It naturally keeps you within a comfortable listening range. The mic has been perfectly reliable. I tend to double-check how I sound on calls, and the feedback has always been positive. It pairs effortlessly with Microsoft Teams and connects to both my laptop and phone. I've never had an issue switching between devices, which is something I can’t say for most Bluetooth gear. I haven’t tested it extensively in heavy weather, but in day-to-day use, even in busy or noisy environments, I’ve never struggled to hear or be heard.Over weekends, I’ve used it on runs and even for the occasional gaming session. I’m no competitive gamer, but for casual play like Skyrim: Oblivion, it performed surprisingly well with no noticeable lag. One unexpected bonus is being able to game or watch something on my computer while still hearing my kids if they call from their rooms: a huge win if you're a parent trying to balance things.Battery life has never been an issue. I’ve never drained it in a day, and although I’m not sure how long it takes to fully charge, the USB-C connection is solid and hassle-free. The headphones still look and function like new after months of use, though I do store them carefully in their soft pouch inside my laptop bag. They’ve held their shape well, but I wouldn’t toss them around carelessly. All in all, this is a quality product with a smart, no-fuss design that works across multiple aspects of daily life. It might not look like much, but if you need comfort, situational awareness, and dependable performance, this one’s a keeper.

Comfortable earphones with good sound
This is my second pair. I lost my first set but liked them enough to replace. Good battery and sound and once you get used to the buttons easy to control. I don't like earbuds in my ear so this is a great alternative. I wear them for walking and find them very comfortable and lightweight. Taking phone calls while wearing them is good as sound is clear and I'm hands free. I like too that they don't block out surrounding sounds. Only downside is as the band is across back of my head it tosses my hair but small price to pay for their convenience and even though I lost my first set ( my fault and not while wearing them) these are very secure.

Great for running!
The Shokz Openrun headphones are invaluable when out running. If you want to listen to music, but stay safe in your surroundings, there aren't many other options. Bone conduction means your ears stay open to environmental sounds, but you can still hear your music, podcast, or audiobooks clearly.Having used previous versions of these for many years, I finally decided to upgrade. These feel lighter and the audio is clearer and crisper than the older models. One negative, in my eyes, is the magnetic charging cable. The older ones that I had used micro-USB, and then in later models, USB-C. This meant they could be charged with any cable, and I didn't have to worry about taking an adapter with me. These use a proprietary magnetic charging cable - which does help with waterproofing, but means just another cable to be carried. I didn't have any water ingress issues with the older models.Another criticism is that whilst the neck band is flexible, if you bend it too much then it feels like it could break. I think it's titanium inside, but I wouldn't want to test it's flexibility too much! It does cater for different sized heads quite well though!

Pleasantly Suprised - so is everyone who tries them
First off these are NOT Noise cancelling or perfect sound wise. They never claimed to be.If you are active and want to listen to music or audio but still be aware of what is going on around you then these are for you. You can listen to good quality music bit less bass than conventional ear buds but still very good and quite loud too considering it is bone induction. You pop them on and boof!! sound! in your head. Okay there can be a little tickle sensation on your temples when playing loud bass stuff but you tune it out more you use them. Has it's own USB lead for charging and a little light to let you know it is charging. Cannot say how long it lasts on a charge as I have had it on all day sometimes and it has never powered down. Press and hold right side for on/off and I forget the rest oh! Tap left to mute. Another advantage over ear buds is you can't have one drop out. I like these I can listen to podcasts and still here someone call me a tosser whilst I am working - yeah people think you cannot hear - but you can. So there you go I like em hope you like them too.

Great product, very comfortable good quality sound. The Shoktz bone conductor headphones are great for running outdoors and much safer than enclosed ear headphones.
