Ampere Dusk App with Adjustable Smart Sunglasses

I'll probably never buy another pair of sunglasses ever again. These are stylish yet understanted, and the tint control (which I use every day) is fast and easy to use. The sound is amazing and is so easy to control via the app. I can even use them to control my Siri. I wear them to the beach multiple times a week and being able to control the level of tint on my phone is perfect for switching between reading and relaxing. The only thing that gave me pause was the price, but for the value these are giving me, it's well worth it. Long term buying these sunglasses will probably save me hundreds in future purchases I'll no longer need to make. Highly highly recommend.

I bought a pair of these 9 months ago. I had two pairs fail on me with daily use but they were handled very carefully always. The customer service (only available over email, no phone support) got those replaced reasonably promptly. But a month and a half ago my third pair suddenly stopped charging and so I emailed support again, and they requested more information, which I sent to them, and I haven't heard back yet despite sending multiple follow up emails. I loved the glasses while they worked, but right now I just can't recommend them

I recently bought Ampere’s Dusk glasses after researching adjustable tint sunglasses for a while. They are a seriously kick-ass product. The side button to adjust the tint works just as advertised and the Bluetooth feature is incredible. The sound is super clear and located right next to the ears on the sunglasses. My favorite part about them, which I wasn’t even expecting, is that you can listen to music but other people can’t hear the music even at a close distance. I was at the park with several friends and was able to listen to music but still have a conversation with them which obviously i couldn’t do with earbuds in. The lenses are very clear and the frames are light. Highly recommend.

I’ve had these for just over a week and have zero complaints. Setup is a breeze, the app is cool, and the magnetic charger is a nice touch. They are so easy to adjust that you can wear them just about anywhere. They fit my face and look great on my boyfriend as well.

I received these as used even tho I bought them and paid for new ones. It came in a repackaged box. They were used and scratched up. Very disappointed in this but thought I would still give it a try. They don’t even work. After fully charging them the dusk part doesn’t work unless you connect it to the app. So I did that. Once connected to the app it work for like 20 seconds before it disconnects its self from the app and shuts down and powers off. Total waste of time and money. Don’t buy them.

These are unlike any sunglasses I’ve used. The biggest thing for me is that they’re so light and look like a completely normal pair of sunglasses, you definitely don’t look like you’re wearing a piece of tech on your head. The buttons work great, they’re super responsive and change the tint level or play/pause your music instantly. Thought there would be some getting used to them but it literally just feels like any other pair of glasses with a ton of added features. A very fun and useful product, glad I found them!

by manual I mean that the lenses don't darken automatically which woulda been great. Maybe Dusk 2.0 can have an ambient light sensor. Now on to the rest of my review. I'm not to confident about the quality of the frames they feel very low cost and I bet they'll be fine though it doesn't inspire any confidence. The audio is subpar but no one is buying smart glasses for their audio quality. The volume in certain occasions was too low to use in some medium volume places. The lenes feel like a flimsy plastic which remind me of soda bottle plastic but a little bit stiffer though not by much. Ray-ban Stories come with a charging case at $299 Ampere sells it separately and beyond the case I purchased the Stories for my wife and they sound better and feel more sturdy. For a little more then what the Dusk and the charging case costs you can buy a Pair of Stories with the transition lenses which will dim automatically. Now having them manually dim is a great feature but the price is a little too up there for that selling feature. The dimming never seamed to be exact for each lense which made me feel i had on polarized 3d glasses from the movie theatre since one always seemed dimmer. The dimming per lens was not perfect either. They had a uneven gradient. I like the concept and the product definitely has a future that not many see yet since it's one of the first ones doing it but maybe on Dusk 3 they fix those things and I'll give them another try

I liked him so much I ordered another set for a family member. These glasses are absolutely amazing! Very light weight, and sleek looking, you would never expect the technology that they hide so well.The only way that you would notice that these glasses are not a normal set of wayfarers is by some metal contacts on the bottom of an arm. That is the charging port for your new sound system, and an amazing technology that lets them go light to dark with a push of a button or the slide of a control in an app.Seriously, worth every penny! The app is easy to use, the glasses turn heads, and the fact that you don't have to take them off when it gets dark, you can just lighten them up makes these truly all day and night wearable!

The glasses worked great! Amazing for UV light, easy to use and Definitely worth the money. Protects your eyes from the sun and comfortable. Would definitely recommend buying these if you're looking for good eye protection.

Shades are a amazing idea but these still feel like prototypes an idea that’s not finished the sound is useless in any kind of noise the shades are really good idea but there is a gradient in the lenses and a colour variant a cool blue to a amber tinge. They also are difficult to turn on and off the instructions say hold button for 3 sec but I have to hold for at least 10 sec. If I was going to get them again I would get the dusk lite as the speaker side is useless.

Title does not say it’s a lite, picture clearly shows speaker holes which is not a lite but they clearly sent a lite because that’s what is printed on the boxNot what I ordered or was expecting.

Unlike advertised, the battery didn't last long and after 3 months stopped working . after20 + emails with warranty nothing was done . My advice is not to spend your hard earned money on these . Simply not worth it and warranty will not help you when it goes wrong

After 2 weeks of the glass I bought my right lens not working at all. Paid 299£How can this me rectified not happy
