Good EDC knife VERY LIGHT WEIGHT
Ok I ordered two of these after reading some of these reviews. After testing both and comparing them they fit the bill for what I was looking for. First of a lot of the cons people list I would say are very subjective on what you want the knife to do. The (GRN) glass filled nylon is extremely tough and chemical resistant this is not standard nylon or plastic. I wanted this feature because of the durability of it but mainly because of the weight. I have many other knives of higher quality but I wanted something that was a beater that didn’t weigh much. This knife is so lightweight you won’t notice it in your pocket even in your summer shorts. The deep pocket clip works great and the overall knife is durable. The locking feature is nice as a work or edc knife. You can deploy the knife easily with one hand closing it one handed is possible but not easily done compared to other knife designs. I’m personally ok with this as I don’t need one handed knife operation on the close so long as I can deploy it one handed. The blades were fairly sharp out of the package, but if you want razor sharp it will require sharpening. I know some guys feel the need to have the sharpest blade possible right out the box personally I don’t on my beater knives. The size of this is comparable to my Ontario Rat 1 my favorite pocket knife I can get a full grip on the knife and it has a 3.5 inch blade my preferred size on a pocket folder. Also I see a few reviews below that complain that they pressed the button and the knife didn’t deploy, let me be clear this is a axis lock that is not a button for automatic deployment. This knife is spring assisted so when you push the stud on the blade it deploys quickly and with authority. The ability to lock it is a nice feature and worked great on both knives I received. I also saw many people felt the handle was cheap and not durable I would argue the opposite and recommend you read a bit more in depth about glass filled nylon. I would say the biggest selling point really is the handle and how lightweight it is and at the price you won’t be upset if you break this , lose it or it’s stolen by your buddy or co worker. All in all I give it 5/5 stars as a great cost effective EDC or work knife.

It's a SOG knife and I have yet to be disappointed in SOG equipment.
So far so good very sharp unique type of style of assisted opening knife. Plus I love SOG equipment.

BEWARE of SOG folding Knife Assist
I have purchased several SOG folding knives through out the years. I have even recommended them to my friends . They are light and small to carry on you or in a bag. Very dependable and hasn’t failed me. I still carry one to this day. Over time, I’ve lost or misplaced one at a time. I purchased a newer version at the end of the year. I carry it in my waist band. The other day, I cut my hand on the knife while it was still folded and on my waist band! It doesn’t completely fold back & the tip is exposed as shown in the photo. I still believe in SOG. Perhaps I have a defective knife. But still BEWARE!

Old Great S.O.G. model!
I got one of these knives like back in 2017 and it cost to almost $30 back then. I bought this knife now for $23. I purchased it and the handle is fine I must have flipped it and tested it a hundred times already runs great. Not much wobble much at all blade doesn't go forward or you can't make it go back and in the spine. Just a good knife sharp had to work on the tip a little bit I had to do file and even it out and it's awesome.

I'd send it back but it's cheap enough to give away.
Bring your bandaids, gun oil and a rag. This knife is very difficult (stiff( to open initially, and there are NO instructions on how to do it.Seems simple, right. Not! The "LOCK on the right side of the handle had to be pushed HARD to get it to the UNLOCK position, indicated by a red color paint that when visible means it's operational. Had to get out a can of Gun Lube and literally soak it to make it work. To open, need to push a lock button on the right side FORWARD and put the thumb on the metal extension button, located on both sides of on the blade. BUT, watch where your forefinger is, because it'll get pinched when the blade springs opens. After opening, the lock to release the blade back into the body of the knife forces one to put fingers "In Harm's Way". Keep your BandAids handy! Definitely some knife makers dream, but actually akin to more of a bloody nightmare.Poorly designed IMHO.VERY CHEAPLY MADE.

Well worth the money
This was a gift for my husband and he says the size is perfect for daily carrying, it holds an edge really good for the price point you really can't beat it. It arrived sharp and ready to go. Really enjoys that the way the spring assist allows for a easy one handed close and open and he loves that it has a safety switch so you never have to worry about it opening in your pocket
