eufy Permanent Outdoor Lights E22, 100ft with 60 Triple-LED Lights

These permanent outdoor lights are absolutely fantastic. I installed the Eufy E22 set, and they’ve completely transformed the outside of my home. The brightness, the color quality, the clean, modern look — everything feels high-end without the high-end hassle. The presets are incredible. There are ready-made themes for pretty much every holiday all year long — Christmas, Halloween, the 4th of July, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, and more. One tap and the whole house is instantly in season. But the real magic is the customization. You can control each individual light and set any color or pattern you want. Soft warm white for everyday use, bold color combinations for parties, or your own creative designs for special events — the options are endless. And I have to call out their customer service. My first set didn’t work right out of the box, and they replaced it with a “like-new” set immediately, no questions asked. Fast, easy, and stress-free — exactly how it should be. The lights look sleek, they’re super durable, and the app is easy to use. Set them once and enjoy them all year long — no more ladders, no more hassle. If you want permanent lighting that’s beautiful, customizable, and backed by great support, the Eufy E22 lights are worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Great lights that are easy to install and user friendly when using the app. I’m excited to change the colors thru out the year. The price was on the higher end but the quality and product you are getting it’s amazing and well worth it. You can change the percentage of the brightness and adjust to your liking. The colors are beautiful and you can customize how you want. The house is perfectly cover and the lights are spaced out to where it’s just the right measurement for the lights to look in sync.

Great set of lights that were reasonably easy to install, the app is working exactly as advertised and exactly as the various reviewers that I watched indicated how it would work. There are a couple of issues that made me think of possibly doing a 4 star instead of 5 star but they are really trivial when compared to the overall experience of installing the lights and enjoying them now that they hang on our home. The first issue is that the screws that are included really are not worth even trying to use to do the install. Unfortunately, I choose to install the lights during a very cold snap (< 32 degrees Fahrenheit) so the 3M backings didn't hold the way they normally would in warmer temperatures. As a complement I used the provided screws but that ended up being a bit of an issue for me in part because I have a seriously damaged right shoulder and attempting to keep the power driver bit on the screws caused several of them to strip, the screws are not the highest quality. So instead I went to Home Depot and purchased a box of 1/4" self taping 3/4" long screws that worked perfectly and fit the holes without causing any issues other than making sure that the light was straight once I got it tight to the mounting point. the other issue which is something the company can add as a feature in future releases of the App is that it would be nice to be able to copy an existing pattern as a starting point so that I can modify that pattern. There are several sections of the 150' strings of lights that I want to be always on and bright white but haven't gone through the process of setting all of this up yet because of the complexity of making that happen. Overall, we are very pleased with these lights and highly recommend them to anyone considering the purchase of permanent outdoor lights on their home.

UPDATE 2: As if these things couldn't get worse. Randomly the lights started turning off and on. They've been installed for 6 mo at this point. Customer service is suggesting checking the power supply, control unit and every connection for water intrusion. Everything was still water tight. Then check every light for water. Then factory reset and delete from app. Nope. The problem was the last scene we used. We used the app's AI scene creator. Apparently AI scenes can get stuck in a power cycle loop. The will even turn the lights on after you have manually turned them off. So one of the key features gives you "ghost in the lights" results. It has been some time that I have been this disappointed in a product. So much so we have stopped purchasing any Eufy products. UPDATE: Everything I mentioned in my original 4 star review is still an issue and even more annoying now living with the lights for a few months. They constantly lose connection to the app and the app is super slow to update the lights. The AI scenes are horrible. The Alexa skill does not work. I even set up home assistant to find out they took away the integration there. The instruction tell you to download the Eufy Life app, but you need to use the Eufy Security app. It's so confusing and doesn't work most of the time. I'd say 25% of the time I find myself going outside to press the button to turn them off if I have manually turned them on. The controller is literally on the other side of the wall from the wifi router. What I thought was quirks of owning them have become annoyances. For the amount paid, this feels like a half baked product. Buy anything else. These lights are amazing so far. I installed 9 strands in one direction on my house. The installation was straightforward. The sticky pad was good enough but didn’t seem like it would hold over time. And the one screw seemed like it would eventually pry out. I wound up 3D printing brackets that go over each light and screws in on both sides of it. Much better but it should come like this. The scenes in the app are pretty good. I was three lights too long and was able to disable them in the app which is really helpful. The response time in the app is pretty slow and I still haven’t been able to get the Alexa integration working. Also I would really like a Sunset to a specified time or hours setting for the schedule. It only allows for specific times or sunset to sunrise. Still learning about the lights and I’m about to install a second controller with 7 strands to go around the back of my house.

We absolutely LOVE these outdoor lights! They have completely transformed the look of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with how beautiful they turned out! The colors are so vibrant, and the lighting makes our house stand out, especially at night. We love being able to change the colors to match different holidays, occasions, or just our mood. They’re such a beautiful addition to our first home and make it feel even more special. We’ve already received so many compliments! Definitely worth the purchase, and we highly recommend them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent lights, super happy with the ease of install, and brightness, and general design. They add a few extra adhesives and screws, packaging is well thought out, and they look beautiful in practice. Fantastic barrel connectors between sections. Also short sections (5m I guess?) which are super convenient. Physically they are flawless. My only complaint is with the app, which is almost great. It's a bit of an awkward UX, and allows for decent customization (You can create patterns, set brightness, disable specific bulbs, and set a few basic animations), but no ability to create designs similar to many of their presets. (for a simple example, I can't make the lights alternate between all red & then all green -- you could alternate every other bulb, but not switch back and forth between 2 uniform colors). Also, a color match (eyedropper tool) button would go a LONG way into making the app less frustrating (and maybe a simple default palette as well) Currently it's only a RBG color map, and once you click on a different color, you have no way of selecting that color again (except getting extremely lucky) to add an additional bulb (if for example you try to reinstate a bulb that you had turned off). [[And as long as I'm here & I realize this is a big ask, but.... I would love to be able do things like have different patterns moving away from a single point (think a corner), which would require a way of breaking the length into two sections (I realize that last one is a bit much, but logical partitioning would greatly improve functionality.)]] It's clearly because they didn't want to make the app too confusing, but I think maybe they aimed a little too simple. Maybe a web app, where the users can create patterns?

Great light shows, easy installation, fantastic appearance. Good material, remote control works just fine. My only downside is the adhesive on the lights. My advice would be to use the screws.

Really good for the price. work as good as the name brand high priced ones at least for us. we aren't too fancy but it's good to have and figure what all you can do. Seasonal and bright love the bluetooth part of it. I do recommend

We were looking at outdoor lights and were ready to purchase the "Other" brand - then I read the reviews on these. We are happy with our purchase, fairly easy to install, just need to plan how you want them, was able to link to the app fairly easily as well as connect to our Eufy cameras. Lots of choices with scenes you can choose, or create your own and the fact you can connect to existing Eufy cameras so when someone comes to the door, they turn on! Great feature! I do find when using the app you can't be too far away from the lights to make changes, but its not a big deal for us. Would definitely recommend.

2 YEAR update: I went to put on my Halloween lights, and unfortunately another 2 blue cells have died on different strands. Although customer service is great, I’m marking it as 1 star as it’s an absolute pain to remove the sticky backs once they are attached, so they are not easy to replace at all. It doesn’t matter if they are willing to send replacements if it takes 2 hours of my time on a ladder each year fight to get sticky goop off. My recommendation is to avoid this product. Post 1 YEAR UPDATE: Well darn, after a year of bragging about how great these lights are and how much time I’ll save every year not having to put up Christmas lights, one of the cells blue light has stopped working. I only noticed when trying to use the same Halloween lighting as last year. I will be able to replace the string of lights and hopefully the others will last better, but unfortunately it defeats the purpose of not having to go up on a ladder each year. Unlike Christmas lights, I can’t just replace one bulb. Super disappointed the quality wasn’t there. If you are planning on paying someone to install these, just be aware that they might need to be redone within a year. Mini update: Luckily customer support is really good and they sent me a new kit (I will send the old one back). That being said I will still need to go up on a ladder and spend a couple hours replacing the strand that is damaged and hope other strands don’t end up having a similar issue. 1 YEAR UPDATE: After -30 deg C weather, crazy amounts of snow and a very hot summer, these have held up great! All the lights are still working and none have loosened from my soffits overtime. Once the holiday season was over, I switched the lighting to just be accent lighting which looks great! I will say, my one complaint after a year of use is the app can be a bit glitchy, and the AI generation is a bit gimmicky and is not as customizable as I would like (I have found specifying things like make lights 7, 14, and 31 change colour where the rest stay the same doesnt work). I am hopeful however that the app will be continually improved and eventually I'll be able to use the Ai feature with more control, rather than setting lights manually. Original review: Just installed and it went very smoothly. I used a 2x4 cut piece to maintain a constant 3.5” spacing from the wall. For the peak, I made sure to make the lights even on either side, with a light at the peak. The screw tab made this possible as the peak light didn’t need to be securely fixed to the soffit. A rag with alcohol worked great for cleaning the area before placing. I went back after and pre drilled into the soffit before securing it with the screws. This wasn’t necessary and the screws eventually cut through without pre-drilling too if you don’t have access to a drill. Highly recommend an electric screwdriver for an even easier install. The integration with the cameras and the price definitely gave it an edge over competitors. The only limitation is only being able to do 150ft before having to start a new set on a different module, but that is plenty for most houses. Definitely looking forward to not having to go up on a ladder during holiday seasons for Christmas lights and the added bonus of having them be on for Halloween this year. I have always been impressed with the quality of eufy products and this is no exception! This is ideal for anyone who wants their house to really stand out during Halloween, Christmas and other holidays and it makes the perfect weekend project for dads!

Great lights. We love them. It takes a little longer to install then what they say but it's well worth it.
