I spent my career in the military and so have a lot of experience of rucksacks. I used this new backferry the other day on a 24 HR wild camp yomping 8 miles with it. It is a solid pack. Well designed and constructed using tough materials and zips. The depth of the back padding ensures great airflow between back and pack. The pack is very very comfortable to wear with the padded waist strap taking a load of weight off the shoulders! All pockets are practical, spacious and easy accessible. The pack came with an internal removable waterproof bag and an external rain cover. The pack is covered in mollie and as you can see I fitted an extra pouch on either side of the hip belt. I wish we had had these in the military! Totally recommend... excellent piece of kit!!

Great rucksack very comfortable to wear. Great padding on the back and shoulder straps and waist. Also came in a nice bag which you can use to keep your equipment dry inside your bag and also a waterproof rain cover to put over it in heavy rain.

Love this back pack ,just the feel of it tells me how strong and comfy it is to wear on my back ,one thing I feel it needs is a storm water cover ,as some zips may leak due to the channels that protect them having no water drainage ports so will allow water in if not drained first before opening .I will look for a cover and feel this bag will be just about perfect for all weather and bug out uses .P.S. I'm a big guy with a 52 inch chest and all straps fit with ease .Hope this helps anyone looking at this bag ,came early and would buy again.

Bag is fantastic plenty of room and extremely well built, my only issue is I didn’t receive a raincover with mine hence the missing star

it had been over a month I'd used it every week trip, it had good volume, pocket number, zips quality and no tears. but couldn't figure out why the front slot zip is upside down.

Really comfortable harness , with back supports so you can carry a lot of weight long distancesI had a weeks worth of gear fitted in there but you could defo go with 2 weeks worth of kit really worth the money , different compartments , and it can hold a water bladder really well very much recommended for any one looking for a hiking or bushcrafing bag

This backpack is made from what I would call very high grade/quality materials.It stands at getting on for a metre tall, 75cm ish, around a foot depth and just over a foot wide.It has the Molle System all over it fir you to add lots of other molle items onto it.It has 2 huge side pockets that you can place a water bladder drinking system into if you have one as this one didn't come with one but I'm guessing you could purchase one or two easy enough.There are so many pockets on it you could seriously lose stuff in them, as in you don't know which one you put something in not that you would lose something out if it as all the pockets are very secure with either zips or velcro fastenings.It has elasticated ropes on the back to secure things to like bedding rolls etc.It has a but of weight to it without putting anything in it already making it extremely durable and hard wearing.I could go on and on about it but you'd eventually give up reading so I'll finish off by saying it comes with an elasticated, waterproof cover to keep everything nice and dry inside.All in all a very high quality, well designed piece of kit that you'd be hard find to beat for the money, it's a definite investment as it will last you years of service.
