The best of the best for foam toppers. No smell, just as described. Customer service is top notch. Give them a chance and see if this can help your trigger point pain from side sleeping!

So far so good! Comfortable 2" topper.
I have an older pillow top mattress today and was having problems with hip and shoulder pain. I didn't want to buy a new mattress, so I bought the 2" version of this topper and so far so good! It is comfortable. I'm not tossing and turning as much. It does retain some heat so I've adjusted how many covers I use at night. It does have a bit of a smell, which I think will go away with time. I only notice it when I move the covers (turning over, etc). I did let it sit out 24 hours before I put it on my bed to expand and lose some of the fumes.

Extend life of mattress
After trying this topper for only 3 nights, I am impressed at the relief it has provided for my lower back and wished I had tried it sooner! Our mattress is @7 years old and we decided to try this topper in hopes of extending tge life if our mattress is mission accomplished!

2 inch mattress topper
OK topper --you may sleep warmer --ok for back--a little hard to turn as you sleep....

Great for a side sleeper. (Wish I would have gone with the 3inch)
I am a side sleeper, and I haven't experienced any hip pain since I put this on our bed- it's only been 5 nights, but it's a good start. When my partner is in the bed, it does tend to sag towards him. He's about 180 lbs, and I'm about 130. My only regret is not getting the 3 inch topper. I was too worried that my sheets wouldn't fit over the 3 inches. But after seeing how they fit with the 2 inch topper, I'm positive I could have gone with the 3 inch. So far I would recommend!
