Love my ring
I’m in love with my Ultrahuman ring The app gives insight on my sleep pattern. It tracks my temperature while I sleep and how this disrupts my sleep. The app was easy to setup. The color is nice. The material is well made. I ordered ring covers to protect it from scratches or wear and tear due to my busy life. I ordered the sizing kit and it was very helpful. I can wear it on my index or middle finger. My fingers do swell at night, so I can wear it on either finger. All in all, great ring, app has a lot of informative information about your health. And you can purchase helpful add ons for a low cost. There’s free add ons too.

Awesome insights for body and health!
I invested in this product knowing this was a young company. I am excited to see what all they develop as they go with this product. People I know had already purchased from l 2 different competing companies so my husband and I decided to try this one. The ring has various sizes and colors. The titanium definitely gets scratches but they are subtle and it was also expected considering other’s experiences even with rings from other companies. My husband has the matte grey and it doesn’t seem to have a scratch yet. I also highly recommend the ring sizer first! The ring is waterproof which is cool for various activities. Personally I don’t care to wear it in the shower or to wash my hands but in the pool yes. I have to charge about every 5 days which is better than my watch. May not be as good as some other brands but I don’t have to pay a subscription for my insights. So if I have to take 1 hour out of my week to charge my ring so be it. It doesn’t take long to charge. It’s better than every night like my watch which I wear in conjunction with the ring. Also more comfortable to wear at night. I don’t notice it at night like I have my watch when I’ve fallen asleep with it.I appreciate the functionality. The insights and the fact it works with apple health and other apps like fatsecret. The AFib detection is still pending in the US which sucks and there will be a small monthly fee for the use of that feature once it becomes available but you don’t have to have it. It has several power plugs that can be used such as menstrual cycle, caffeine window, circadian rhythm, and some others that are free. It seems fairly accurate from what I can tell, such as the heart rate. The step counter not so much but I use my watch for that. Also the more I wear it the more it learns about me and the better the insights become. I’ve attached several pictures and each power plug you can click on and most of them go more in depth but I just left it to the simple stuff for this review. I hope this helps. As I have mentioned, my husband also has an ULTRAHUMAN ring so we were able to connect using our ULTRAHUMAN APP using zones and keep each other in check. I named mine I Don’t Know because I literally didn’t know what I was getting into at the time. But it makes it more competitive.

Great for tracking anything but a workout
I’ve had this ring for 4 months now. I bought it to replace my apple watch. I would charge my apple watch every night and not get any of the sleep insights, so I thought this would be nice for that.Battery: if you workout regularly you’ll need to charge this almost daily. I charge it anytime I take a shower, and if I’m going to be sitting down for an extended period of time. It recommends to charge in short spurts instead of leaving it on the charger for hours. It charges relatively fast in my opinion.Workouts: the app has so many workout options, much more than apple’s fitness app. i wish i could love the workout mode BUT my heart rate is almost always wrong. The app will read 100-110 while my machine is estimating 160-170. I know my body and know that my heart rate on the stairclimber is much higher than 105. Also my workouts will randomly stop recording with no record of it running to begin with and I lose all that data. Yesterday 2/4 of my workouts didn’t record when I could see it recording the time at the top of my screen. I would open the app to end the workout and the app would be out of the workout mode and display my home screen. My workouts were roughly 30-40 minutes each. Much less than their 2 hour cut off that the support mentioned. My ring also is disconnected from the app almost every time I pull up the app during a workout, which means it’s not registering anything. I reached out to support on the app but they were unhelpful. They only said “the ring is connected now” (which I knew at the time. I was trying to raise concern during workouts). And then dismissed all my other grievances without any help.Sleep/Recovery: This ring tracks sleep really well from what I can tell. Sometimes I have to alter the start of my sleep because I’ll be on my phone and it thinks I already fell asleep. There will be times I’m sick and have a fever through the night and the app detects my body temperature change and tells me to take it easy the next day.Cycle Tracking: I do not have a regular cycle to track. I believe it needs 15 days to be able to accurately detect a cycle. My birth control makes my cycle nonexistent or sporadic.I WOULD NOT recommend this ring for any type of workout logging. I am switching back to my apple watch for workouts.I WOULD recommend this ring for sleep track, recovery tracking, etc.I recommend using the ring sizer to get an accurate fit before purchasing. I purchased the gold color and would advising not wearing it for any activity using your hands. The gold scratches very easily and will start to rub off the ring.

Good value overall
Overall this smart ring is pretty good. It’s pretty accurate in terms of the metrics it collects about my health. I especially like the sleep tracking functionalityThe design is very sleek. Doesn’t look like you’re wearing an expensive piece of machinery which is nice in my opinion. The ring is lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy to wear. After a few days of consistent use, you forget that you’re wearing it.The charging speed is okay, can usually get back up to full charge within a few hours. Another big benefit of the Ultrahuman ring is that the app is free and you don’t have to pay a monthly subscription like some of the other smart rings on the market. Another huge benefit for me is that the ring is HSA eligible so I didn’t pay anything out of pocket to buy this. The one major problem with the ring is the battery life. Was advertised to last an entire week. For the first couple weeks of wearing I did get to about a week of battery life before having to charge it again. Now after a few months of wearing it I usually get a maximum of about 4 days before I need to charge it again.
