Really Good Task Lamp
This 23 inch ultra wide lamp is a very good, bright task lamp, and is close to the ideal task lamp that I was hoping for.PROS:- Bright: Puts bright, direct light on my hobby table top. The brightness is very sufficient for detailed hobby work.- 4 Brightness Levels: Nice touch. I don't always need it on the highest setting. For instance, last night, I was happy just using it at a medium brightness since I was just doing some hobby planning.- Long Swing Arm: You can put the lamp head where you want it. I'm using a card table, which is around 35x35 inches. The lamp is clamped onto the edge opposite from where I sit. I position the lamp head directly over my work, and the lower part of the swing arm is still vertical.- Strong Table-Top Clamping: The clamp is surprisingly heavy and strong. With the lamp installed, there is no flimsiness whatsoever. Very solid.- It's LED: At the brightest setting, it only uses 24 Watts and doesn't get hot. I can let it run all night for pennies.- Well-built: I don't know what the quality of the internal components are. But the overall lamp is very sturdy and good quality. I am quite pleased.CONS:- Clamp Size: While the clamp is excellent quality and allows for a very thick tabletop, the side-to-side distance between the clamp screw and clamp frame is on the small-side (as an opinion) and may mean some users will not be able to clamp this to their tabletop. I had a VERY hard time clamping this onto my card table, which has a light, tube steel frame around the underside of the table. I had to remove the swivel head from the clamp screw and then put it back on once the screw was past the table's frame ... just BARELY made it! I don't know whether this would work with some of the folding utility tables on Amazon and at the Office Supply stores, for example, because they have a somewhat thick molded edge.NOTE: The light from this lamp is slightly blueish-white. I'm realizing now that I am just not used to a "daylight" color temperature (screw-in a "daylight" bulb somewhere in your house; you'll instantly see what I mean). It's good light. It's just slightly different from what I'm used to.In sum, I am really glad I found this lamp. It works excellently for my hobby table. It provides me with good, bright task lighting. I can recommend it.

I love lamp!
In all seriousness, I purchased this lamp to better light my painting area for miniatures--so a neutral light was an absolute must. After stumbling on Neatfi's brand I was immediately interested despite a lack of certain "gimmick" features, such as being able to change the color temperature, which again is not super integral to crafts that involve color selections, so it wasn't an issue.I can say after having purchased the lamp and put it to use, it's bright enough for my needs without being blinding like something you would use for recording or photography--for me, personally, I find the dimmed settings to be a tad weak, but that's more subjective. I would describe the light as cool, yet neutral, it doesn't add any blaring hue to a painting surface, and the LED strips are very nicely diffused through an opaque light filter which again, reduces harsh glare. TL;DR: very easy on the eyes!I purchased the silver color assuming it would be more of a grey due to the advertising, but it's actually a proper metallic and looks quite spiffy! I am quite well pleased overall and feel the price was worth it, given the size of the lamp. It's honestly extremely sturdy and will not budge after articulation.I read in some reviews people struggled with turning the lamp off without cycling through the dimmer, and all you have to do it double-tap the power button and it will turn right off and store the light setting you were using. All in all, I highly recommend!

I can see
I can see much more using this light. Covers a wider area and can adjust it to any angle I need is terrific.

This is the LED lamp you want
Oh, yeah! This is a proper light! Most other "architect lamps" have the exposed springs and screws that eventually fatigue and fall off, or may barely be able to hold up the meager weight of the socket if designed to hold a conventional, screw-in type bulb. Many of the lamps with built-in LEDs are just not bright enough. This unit is tall, clean and robustly made. And the lamp head is bright! You'll feel your pupils close down and give you sharp views for detail work. When LEDs first appeared on the market, they tended to be 2700K, which is not "indoor." That's candle-light yellow! I gathered from reading that yellow lights were "favored" in the west (but not by me), while eastern countries favored cooler, "bluer" lamps. Manufacturers finally started offering variety, but they tended to be extreme—2700K or 6500K (too blue) with nothing in between. The market has now reached a level of maturity. This unit produces a nice "daylight" around 5600K to 6000K, by the manufacturer's own reply. So it is bright without being "blue," and works well next to computer displays.A gradient dimmer would be nice (like the external control I now have on a screw-in type LED lamp), but I can accept the stepped control in this lamp. First press turns on the lamp full brightness, with successive presses stepping down through the dimmer stages, and then off.I'm liking this lamp and the quality so much I may order another one for a second work area.

The range of light
I like it and liked it more when I found that I can put it into the cubby hole on my desktop that's made for wires and there's still room for the wires. I like lights that are before me and not to the sides and it doesn't really take any space way on my desktop. I can raise the lamp up pretty high so my head does hit it when I move around and get up off the chair. It has the different degrees of lighting but I don't have to go through them all just to turn it off. No matter what degree you choose you just have to double click the power button to turn it off. Mind you if you want a lower degree of light you do have tone it down.
