Great taste with very few calories
This mayonnaise tastes excellent, and it's perfect for sandwiches, making sauces, and general cooking use to thicken and add a bit of flavour. I highly recommend it if you like mayonnaise and want to lose weight while still enjoying great flavours.

Broken jar
Even though box didn’t look battered and individual jars were wrapped one still was broken and mayonnaise all leaked in the box.🙁

Not bad - but please cut out the sugar
This is the first time that I have bought mayonnaise for many years as I have mostly given up eating processed foods with lots of additives. Ironically, light versions, promoted as being the healthy option, often have more additives than the full fat versions. However, there are some things I miss these days, notably egg and tuna mayonnaise, so I decided to give this Hellmann's Lighter Than Light mayonnaise a go.I have to say that it's not bad: nice and creamy, and without the nasty chemical taste that I remember from light mayonnaise of the past. I applaud that it has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, is suitable for vegetarians (I'm actually a pescatarian), and is made with free-range eggs and responsibly sourced oils. It's also good to see Hellmann's promoting the fight against food waste, encouraging us to use mayonnaise to use up leftovers, and that this Lighter product comes in jars which can be easily recycled. What's more, the lid popped off my jar very easily - always a relief now I've got to the age where jars can be quite a challenge to open!My only reservation about this mayonnaise is that I find it too sweet. Along with artificial additives, I also avoid processed foods with sugar or too much salt, and I couldn't help noticing that sugar appears before egg in the list of ingredients for this mayonnaise! Please reduce the sugar, Hellmann's - or better still, take it out altogether!

good if you're watching your calories
if you're watching your calories this is a good substitute, I mix in a little chilli sauce and use as a salad dressing

not my cup of tea
In light of our New Year's resolutions for a healthier lifestyle, my wife and I decided to cut on our calories. When she came across this "lighter than light" mayonnaise, we thought it was worth a try.The price was excellent — 12 jars of 400ml mayo at a great deal, delivered right to our doorstep. However, the taste didn't quite live up to our expectations.I couldn't figure out what the taste of these mayo reminds me, until I checked the ingredients (specifically cornstarch, rapeseed oil and milk) it struck me that it resembled more of a bechamel sauce than mayo. After trying it again, the taste indeed leaned towards bechamel. Don't get me wrong; I love bechamel in my lasagna. While it might not be our preferred mayo, we've found an alternative use for it — as a bechamel substitute in our lasagna. That way, it still serves a purpose in our kitchen. Maybe someone will like it as a mayo but my personal preference in my taste perhaps is different than everyone else's.

I don’t like it.
It’s gloopy. The consistency is off. To me they’ve added some kind of gum to thicken it ( xantham perhaps). Which gives it an akin to slimy consistency. I don’t mind the light one and I’ll stick to buying that in future.
