Five star if you don't read a new phone manual
This is a five stare phone if you don't read a new phone manual. It has all the basic features of a modern smart phone. For those of you who read the phone manual cover to cover you would consider this a four star phone as you will be looking for those extra features on other high spec modern smart phones. My expectations on my new phone were lowWireless chargingLong battery lifeWater resistant (read a text or call in light rain)NFCModern CPU + memoryAndroid 12My list is short and the phone ticked all the boxesMy plan is to never use any cables. I have read some reviews with problems with this type of phone after being in water. I have had similar issues with other devices were I have not closed the water proof tabs. So I will not be wireless only. You may notice camera was not on my list, so I happy with the camera quality, if you are a serious camera phone person you should read the specification for the camera. The phone power saving feature are basic, but the large battery gave me 4 days untill I loaded up some of my power hungry apps. One reason forme going for the large battery is to get optimum life out of the battery. I run the battery 20-80% . Never letting the battery go flat or charging to 100%.A slow wireless charge gets me to 80% overnight.I used a fast wireless charge during the day 20-80% and the phone got a little hot. So I will only use a fast charge for a 20% top-up.When you first up date the phone it says it will take a few minutes and done switch off during the update. Expect to wait an hour for the update , be patient and don't be tempted to restart the phone.I had the opportunity to copy all old settings from my old phone . I resisted and manually set up minium apps from my old phone and manually re enter passwords. Over a few daysThis enables me to bin un required apps and the big battery users.Reseption on the phone is 90% compared to my old phone, only noticeable on EE, which has a bad signal. My 02 has full signal so all good. The phone is big and stopped noticing how heave after a few days until I pickup my old phone. I stopped carrying my phone in my pocket last year and use a bag so not the best phone to pop into your jeans pocket.Online banking app works so no complaints.Only 4g but by the time I have 5g in my area I will need a new phone. The only reason I upgraded my phone was because I was on android 10 so if you are running Android 10 or lower you need to make the jump to android 12 as a minimumUpdate since purchase July 2023.No issues, I was unsure because 5g was available on newer models, no 5 g in my area so I have saved some money on my original purchase. After almost two years I am getting a new small rugged 5g phone same manufacturer as an upgrade, but this phone works as well as the day I purchased it.Used this for work email an messaging and I was down to 50 % battery at the end of a long day. Recently changed jobs and know receive a more acceptable amount of emails and messages and battery is at 70% . I expect to get a full weekend on a full charge without work email and messages.Main care I have taken is keeping phone dry , but I have used in rain and not have to worry, and slow wireless charging overnight to preserve the battery and water resistant seals

Loses mobile signal
Loses signal easily. I put my SIM back in old phone to see if it was just the signal being down in the area. But I got full signal straight away

Not the best
Doesn't always work, doesn't make calls, tells me I'm offline all the time. Slow as anything.

Great phone with thermal and night camera, but battery needs to be bigger IMHO
My last phone was a Ulefone Power Armor 13 which was brilliant with a huge battery life and it felt like a brick (and was a tough as one!). I wanted a new one with IR camera and thermal camera capabilities hence getting the 25T.The 25T thermal imaging is better than I expected, it takes a few seconds to start up but I imagine that is down to cooling down the chip. If I put my hand on a wall for just a few seconds and remove it , the camera can clearly see my hand print it is that sensitive! Very impressed. The IR camera works well and the LEDs illuminate quite a distance. Also impressed. All the other standard phone features work well, the only thing that lets this down is that with the Power Armour 13 I could go 4 days before charging, the 25T lasts a day. I would be happier with a 10,000mah battery at least on this phone.Other than that, it is a tough as my previous phone (it even survived me bringing down my bonnet hinge onto it when I closed the frunk on it (glass protector needs replacing, but the phone was unmarked and undamaged!). Great little phone highly recommended for those who want thermal and IR options on their phone.
