Chloe is a charming honest child and her family supports her with love and realistic guidance
Richard Galichon has created a story for 1st and 2d graders that tells us the story of his daughter, Chloe, who lives and plays and works with her ADHD- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The great illustrations and words are charming, funny, and authentic. The narrator is an honest child without any shame about her condition. She admits her flaws and says she wants to be more like her sister. She talks about her medicine without shame. Her very supportive family gives young Chloe hugs after her meltdowns. They offer positive suggestions to help her be successful with sticking to her routines. Children and families in the glow of this great force of human nature would do well to buy this little book and share with teachers and libraries.

Light hearted yet serious glimpse of the impact ADHD has on a family
This adorable story of Chloe will provide comfort to many children and parents dealing with ADHD. It touches on some of the big struggles these children face. The social and family impact, ups and downs of medication treatment, the strive to be accepted, equal, and unique, all with a positive and hopeful spin. As an ADHD Coach and a mom of 3 children with ADHD I love the message of understanding, love, and acceptance.I highly recommend this colorful picture book as a tool for parents, children, siblings, educators, and coaches to broaden knowledge and understanding of ADHD and its impact on the lives of many.
