This KVM switch was exactly what I needed. Installation was simple, allowing me to control two computers using a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse, which helped keep my desk much more organized. Switching between systems is fast and stable—with no noticeable lag—and I haven't experienced any connection issues so far. The image quality remains crisp, making it an excellent choice for anyone working with both a personal and an office PC, or simply looking to save space without constantly plugging and unplugging cables. In my experience, it has performed reliably and offers great value for money.

This is definitely worth the money, especially if you have 1 PC that is only HDMI and 1 that is Displayport. My work laptop only has HDMI while my home desktop supports DP. I was using an HDMI switch as well as a USB switch but this eliminated both of those and now I have the better graphics for my desktop. Switching is quick and so far no graphics or display issues. It does come with the USB-A to USB-C cable for power, but not the brick to plug into an outlet. Unsure if it would run off of a regular USB port on a PC for power. I had a brick so I plugged it i to my UPS. Solved my switching issue and cleared a little clutter on my desk. Highly recommend.

Last update after complete testing: 5/24/26 - Tried it out with a wireless Microsoft Ergo Keyboard and mouse. Does NOT work. Tried it with a wireless Logi MX Master ergo keyboard and mouse. Works only on the keyboard, but NOT the mouse. Trying to use it on the Logi K470 and it works OK. As a test I'm running it on 2 very simple boxes (a 7 year old Intel i7 10700 based system with an ASUS ROG Strix 470 motherboard with 128Gb RAM), and an iProda i7 12400 w/16Gb RAM)To reduce any RF issues, I am running both systems hardwired to my network switch, and have wifi and any available BT turned off as well. The only Bluetooth device I'm running in any situation is the dongle for the respective keyboard/mouse combinations. The K470 is my backup keyboard/mouse and I hate the standard layout (your mileage will vary). Again, switching between systems is very slow (4-6 seconds). All things in perspective, this will help a common user if they want 2 systems and don't care about sound, but your generic Bestbuy/Amazon/Walmart customer will never run 2 systems, unless one is a desktop (like mine) and a laptop (largely Windows base - and while a laptop might work, why?). I run a M4 Macbook Pro as my belly driver, and could test it with that as well, but I see no appreciable value in doing so. Second review - 5/23/2026 Changed my mind on the plugging it in. I did and have two systems connected. It is SLOW to make changes, but it does swap the systems with the single display. The control did not initially work, so I unplugged the displays, the USB and my USB keyboard dongle. Plugged it all back in and made sure the 1/8" din's were properly seated, and it works. Still a big issue with the absence of audio, and the need for yet another desktop device to enhance the clutter. Original review: What computer in the last 40 years has not had audio out? As such, why would you manufacture a KVM without audio in and outputs? Not going to plug it in, because without that audio, I'd have to host a separate audio switch.

I've been using this Hearvo KVM Switch for a few days, and it has made switching between two computers much more convenient. The setup was straightforward, and once everything was connected, switching between systems was quick and responsive using the included control button. Works Great. Love it. Keeps me from having to switch computers at a little tiny button on the bottom of the monitor, plus it also switches my mouse and keyboard. This has eliminated the use of two keyboards and two mice. I also use a port to switch my headset at the same time that it switches my keyboard and mouse. I think next I will use it to switch external storage that can be used by both computers. My only complaint is that it takes several seconds to switch. I wish it was more instantaneous.

I've had and been using this KVM switch for several months now so it's time for a review. Basically, it does what it is supposed to do, but I have 4 small gripes that I'll share anyway. First is that some of the pictures & videos here on Amazon led me to believe that this would come with 2 HDMI cables and 2 USB cables. It doesn't. In the box there were 2 USB cables and exactly *zero* HDMI cables. So be aware of that. My second small gripe is that I REALLY wish this thing supported keyboard hotkey switching, like the older IO**** (USB/DVI) KVM that it replaced did. Third, the cable for the push-button switch is WAY too short. (I had to use an extension cable.) Fortunately, an ordinary 3.5mm audio extension cable works for that (and fortunately I already had one lying around). Lastly, as I learned, when you switch away from one computer, some operating systems (I'm looking at you U*****!) can forget what resolution the screen was at, so that which you switch back to that machine/OS the screen resolution will be annoyingly downgraded to some crummy lower resolution. As I learned, there exist little things called "HDMI EDID emulators" that you can buy that will fix this problem by, in effect, simulating the monitor being constantly attached (and I did buy 2 of them). The good news is that that those little things do eliminate the problem. The bad news is (a) they cost extra and (b) as I learned, the BIOS on some types of machines (I'm looking at you D***!) doesn't play well with these EDID emulators (and won't display boot-up time POST screens/messages when you have one of these EDID emulators in the HDMI line). So anyway, I understand why the manufacturer of these KVM switch did NOT just integrate EDID emulation into the KVM itself (because they CAN cause problems, as I just noted) but it would be GREAT if these KVM switches integrated EDID emulators (for each/both video/HDMI inputs) but if they also included a switch so that the EDID emulation could be turned on or off as needed. (But of course, they would have to raise the price if they did that.) All things considered I give this KVM 4 stars because, as I've said, it does do what it is supposed to do. But I would have been willing to pay a little more for something that (a) came with HDMI cables and that (b) more importantly, something that supported hotkey (keyboard) switching, which I really miss.

This KVM switch works exactly as expected. It was very easy to install, and switching between two computers is fast and seamless. The video quality is sharp, the USB ports work perfectly, and everything runs smoothly without any lag. It feels well-built and is a great value for the price. This KVM switch lets you use one monitor with two computers. Very small and lightweight. Also allows you to plug in 3 USB peripherals. I am using it wth a scanner, USB mouse, and USB keyboard. Easy setup with good instructions.

Change over between the laptops is very slow.Most of the times it does not work.

Additionally, there is a wired remote button that you can use to stick under your desk near the edge closer to you for convenience and have the switch hidden for a clean workspace. Note that the wired remote is plugged in on the opposite end, i.e., the very right, of the front. - On the front of the unit, to the right of the PC 1 / PC 2 lights, there is a USB-C port followed by 3 USB-A ports—for a total of 4 USB 3.0 ports to be shared between both computers. - On the back side, there are 2 sets of USB 3.0 and HDMI inputs for your PCs. I got this switch for my computer setup since I work from home and it is super handy. It lets me hook up my work laptop to my personal screen easily. I have the button stuck under my desk with hot glue. Press it and my keyboard and mouse switch right to my laptop. No messing around with cables behind the screen or anything. It is just easy. The box is nice and compact and the cable for the button is long enough to set it up wherever you need. It has made my workspace way more convenient on days I am working from home with my laptop.

I added this KVM switch to my desk setup so I could stop unplugging my monitor and USB devices every time I wanted to move between computers. My main goal was to have one keyboard, mouse, and display shared between two systems without turning my workspace into a mess of cables, and for regular desktop use it handled that job pretty well. Initial setup was easier than I expected. I connected both systems with HDMI and USB, attached my monitor to the output side, and everything was detected without needing extra software. After that, changing systems was mostly just pressing the selector button. The included wired control button was actually one of the better parts for me because I tucked the main unit behind the monitor stand and only kept the small switch button within reach on the desk. The device itself feels reasonably sturdy and does not slide around much once the cables are attached. I also liked having multiple USB ports available on the front instead of having every accessory hidden behind the unit. My keyboard, mouse, and USB receiver all transferred correctly between computers during testing, and the monitor signal stayed stable while switching. One thing that specifically did not work in my setup was using the HDMI outputs from two IP KVM systems as the source inputs for this switch. I just ran into limitations once I started trying to integrate it into a more specialized IP KVM environment.

This Hearvo KVM switch is quite slick. It supports connection of 2 computers to a single monitor via USB 3.0 and HDMI, claiming to support resolutions up to 8K. Well, I don't have an 8K monitor so I couldn't test that particular feature. I do have a 4K monitor so I figured I'd give that a try. Each computer requires an HDMI cable and a USB cable to run from the computer to the KVM switch, and there's a single HDMI out port that goes from the switch to the monitor. These ports are all on the "far" side of the switch. On the "near" side are the button for switching between computers, a pair of indicator lights to tell you what computer is active, a USB-C port and three USB-A ports (all supporting USB 3.0) as well as a "CTRL" jack. As you'd expect, the four USB ports are for connecting devices to the computers (which computer they're connected to depends on which computer is active, of course) but the "CTRL" jack is for connecting the included remote switch button -- a small, wired button that allows you to switch between computers without requiring the use of the button on the switch itself. Useful if the switch is hidden away behind a monitor or under a desk. The switch itself is powered over USB and requires no additional power cable. A very nice feature, indeed. My old KVM switch is an old USB 2.0 + VGA unit that requires an external power supply, so one less wall wart is appreciated. In practice it works quite well indeed. Switching is quite rapid and easy. I didn't encounter any issues with connectivity, device support, video output, or switching. Everything worked as you would hope. The remote button is a nice feature, as the switch itself was at the back of my desk and not quite smack dab in front of me. I wouldn't want to have to stand up and reach behind my monitor every time I wanted to switch between computers. In my case, I tested this using my desktop PC in conjunction with one of my laptops. Both devices worked just fine. All in all, this is a nice KVM switch for small setups. It performed flawlessly for me, and I definitely recommend it.
