Quran in English: Modern English Translation. Clear and Easy to Understand.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I loved reading this book. Though I may disagree with several specific teachings in this book, the overall message was positive and inspiring. It is no wonder so many people are attracted to Islam. Thank you for making this translation that is easy to understand for someone unfamiliar with Islam. I recommend that everyone read this. There are too many people who have a negative view of Islam because of the actions of a few evil people. There are a few evil people within every organization and we should not judge the whole group based on the actions of a few. This book helped reinforce that belief in me that followers of Islam are just normal people trying to live a good life. I believe everyone has the right to worship how, where, or what they may.

Having just read the Bible, I decided to read the Quran in an attempt to better understand the Muslim faith. I was aware that Islam had a loose affiliation with Judeo-Christian theology, but was shocked by how closely it is associated. Frequent references to Moses, Noah, Abraham, Jesus and Mary (the only woman named in the Quran). Definitely worth reading.

Even if it's not you Faith I believe it's a must read. My goal this year was to complete the Quran, Torah, and new testament but it's become a longer project than expected. The Quran in particular I find it to be a lot like taking one step forward and two steps back to grasp what's being said. I also think I should have had this third in the order rather than first because it appears to reference story lines from the others. I originally thought I'd start here because I had the least familiarity with it. All that being said true words resonate with the perception people bring to a reading and it's a real shame that anyone would take these great writings and use them for anything other than self reflection and growth. My take away is to live your fellow man that God knows all and God is the interbank can judge. There are a lot of excerpts about what others or outsiders say and do that didn't resonate with me but that was the only retraction from a book that has shaped the world.

I have a Quran in my home but I decided to read it on my kindle and I have to say it's just so beautiful, I read the last chapters really slow because I didn't want it to end that's how much I enjoyed reading it so I will just read it again. God is great. I would recommend this Quran to any and everyone because it's that clear and good.Thank you for having a kindle copy 😊

I bought this after 911 to help me understand the Islamic beliefs and hopefully their mindset. I have read it three times since then. Easy to read and understand. I have compared it to other translations and appears to be accurate.

This was quite easy to read. I read it because so many people were telling me that the reason there are Muslim terrorists is because it says to kill infadels in the Quran . I read this from cover to cover and did not find any reference to killing infadels nor to the 70 virgins a person is suppose to get in heaven if he does so.That being said I've downloaded a second version in English to read just so I do not base my opinion of the Quran on a single translation.

This is nice I just wish they used the name Allah would have been perfect if only the name Allah was incorporated !

Since I do not read Arabic I can only assume this is a good translation. It is easy to read and understand. However, if you are serious about gaining a better understanding of the Quran, I would recommend getting a commentary on the Quran as well.​

Regardless of religion it's the Qur'an this is very good as it is in English with Arabic writing so learning skills come in handyReally nice print with a really good paper pages

The best English translation of the Quran I have come across. I'm a Christian, but I want to understand what the Quran says, but so many translations are in very poor English, often making the mistake of thinking that King James English makes something holy. Many Q translations add words or phrases that change the basic meaning or have unclear English. I am grateful that Talal Itani has not made any of these errors.

bought this to learn more what is in the Quran, rather than all the stuff think is in this holy book. I enjoyed reading, and reading stories that are in the old testament of my bible. Thank you
