Easy to use, water hardness test kit. The kit works well provided the steps are followed according to the instructions. The test results completed as was expected. I am pleased with the kit overall.

My pool water was way too hard and using these strips I was able to monitor the level as I removed the calcium. I installed a water softener in the pool and the test strips let me control what was going on.

Great for testing drinking water. Water is clearer now. These are not great for testing pool water. Neighbor was using these. I explained how these are used. His pool looks good now. Bought a pool kit.

I bought these hardness test strips to help program the settings for my water softener and then to verify it is working properly. These are very easy to use - just dip in water for 2 seconds and then wait 30 seconds to check read the color change. Does what it's supposed to do, no complaints.

Perfect test strips

Perhaps I have a faulty batch, but these are impossible to read. I kept thinking my water softener was not working and got these to see if it was kicking on the recycle like it should. I've done 3 tests and not one come close to matching a color on the legend. I have no clue how you are supposed to actually tell from this what the hardness is. I reached out to a neighbor who had a different kind of kit where you put little scoops of a solution into a test tube and it is super accurate and easy to determine what your water hardness is. This is inexpensive, but far as I can tell it doesn't actually work.

I use tankless water heater and it's paramount that the water be soft in order for it to work properly. These strips are easy to use and you get the result right away very convenient.

I used these recently to test for water hardness. While east to use, once you hold the strip up to the bottle to assess the reaction, I found it difficult to discern one colour from the next. I ended up using a strong flashlight to narrow it down between 2. I guess there isn't always an absolute and results can fall between the provided chart colours, but I just wish the test strip reaction colours were more defined. Seems to work though.
