BrooksMen’s Ghost 16 Neutral Running Shoe

Brooks has done it once again. Shoes fit as expected, they look clean and are comfortable. It appears that their quality has not suffered. The shoes are versatile, I’ve ran on trails and pavement and look forward to putting them to good use in the near future.

Great shoe for comfort and durability.

Upon receiving my ghost 16. I took them out of the box. I then went for a run. I said to myself. These are the best shoes. I ran in since the ghost 15. These shoes are perfect for me. Further more, I am planning to purchase another pair of ghost 16’s!

I have worn several Brooks shoes over the years. Started with a Ricochet 2, Ricochet 3, then a couple pairs of Levitate (since they quit making the Ricochet).I miss the Ricochets and read on the Brooks website that the Ghost were supposed to have replaced them. I tried the Ghost 16 and they have many issues. My previous pairs of shoes (as well as the Ghost 14 and 15) have a stiff plastic around the foam cushion support. These 16s are foam all around, and it sticks out from around the base of the shoe by about 1/2" - very cheap look and external feel.Before my first pair of Richochets I had experienced heel pain, but had not had an issue for years since switching to Brooks. After only a couple minutes of intense walking in these and I felt the pain trying to return. I pushed through for about 20 minutes and when I took these shooes off the sides of my feet hurt (siderails?).I realize these are designed with a different support profile than my previous shoes, but it's a drastic difference - especially when Brooks claim the Ghost replaced them.Perhaps the Ghost 14 or 15 are better, but if you're coming from a Ricochet or Levitate don't waste your time with the 16s, they are garbage. Stick with the Levitate 6.

After buying and trying so many different running shoes, these are the first that fit well and are really comfortable. I hope they hold up to use.

These are really good and way more comfortable than Nike Airs or top-of-the-line new balance shoes, and the price is much lower too. The only downside to the shoe is that they don’t breath well, might be better in the winter time. They are light and feel kind of cheap, but are very comfortables.

These are an unfortunate downgrade from previous versions of the Brooks Ghost (the 13s, 14s and 15s were great shoes). The cushioning has been reduced. The sizing is a little strange - and they seem clunkier. Such a shame. Buy up those 13s (if you can find 'em!), 14s and 15s now!

I picked this shoe after trying various shoes at a running store. I bought a pair there and liked them so much that. Bought a second pair on Amazon.

Achtung Schuhe sind "Extra Wide". Leider steht nichts in der Bescheibung. Wer Meduim benötigt sollte hier nicht bestellen!
