I have owned three and this has been an issue across the board. This bracket solves that problem entirely. It screws onto the back of the trunk just fine and stays secure with zero rattle or shifting when operating the trunk lid. The plate screws that are included tighten a plate down just fine with no issues. I use hardware hider caps with them for a cleaner look and to keep them somewhat protected.
