This microphone is very good quality and sounds good under an audio recorder, I love the light up look and ease of muting the mic, use this for gaming mainly but also is good for potential ASMR 🧐🧐 maybe I’ll have a look

This really is a great microphone if you are looking for a more versatile solution than those with a standard desk/table stand.Arrived in a good quality thick cardboard box and everything laid out nicely inside with no wastage of space. The clamp attaches to a wide variety of desks, my desk is a very thick surface and it just manages to fit on its widest opening, I don't imagine there are many desks with a thicker top than the one I own.The whole thing really is very nice quality, stable in all positions and a ton of adjustment in all directions, super versatile. I like to position the mic off screen and it works well just below and with the mic volume you can easy tweak the mic to sound good either close or a reasonable distance.The mic itself is really nice and solid with a comfortable easily accessible volume knob, and also a headset socket should you require(there is also a bog standard wired headset included in the box). The coloured leds look fabulous, but it's great that you are also able to disable those with a long press as I wouldn't like that to be seen in my videos personally, something for the youngsters/hipsters.Overall there is nothing to deduct any stars for, great quality microphone and sound quality as good as I've heard. Top marks.

I am reviewing a “Gaming Microphone for PC Computer, USB Streaming Condenser Mic Kit with RGB, Quick Mute, Gain Knob, Boom Arm Stand, Pop Filter for Podcasts YouTube F8S”, priced £53 at time of ordering.For the price, the microphone and stand are pretty good. The included 3.5mm jack earphones are very cheap feeling and sounding though and I do not recommend them. The light up mute button on the top is a nice touch so you can easily see whether or not the microphone is live. Although this microphone is “plug and play” it also comes with instructions to set up with either Windows or Mac if it isn’t recognised automatically. I used it with Linux and it worked straight away.The sound quality produced by the mic is better than using a built-in mic or cheaper headsets, and it does cut out a fair amount of background noise, but it still has a slightly muffled and distant sound common with cheaper microphones. Although the box says it is “suitable for small recording studios for professional recording” and, at the time of writing, the online title of the product listing includes “podcasts” as one of the things you might use it for, I wouldn’t recommend it for recording. The full description in the online listing focuses primarily on it as a gaming mic and it is more than adequate for that, and is fine for video calls too. Overall it is a good option for live audio, although you might want to get better headphones.

I was impressed with this microphone set straight out of the box, it comes all well separated and protected and has a full stand and a filter for the microphone. It all feels well made and fits together nicely.I've tried this on two windows based computers and it was simple plug and play and I could use the microphone. We recently filmed a couple of videos for something and wanted to put a voice over onto a couple of parts and recording with this microphone was far superior with anything we got using a phone, a lavalier microphone, the built in computer microphone or doing it straight to camera. The adjustable gain control on the microphone was a big help too in getting the sound right.Overall this seems a good microphone for the hobbyist or for someone needing to record something in good quality, I'm sure there are better microphones available if you want to spend more but for the fifty pounds price tag this seems good value and its met my needs perfectly.

Overall, a very good mic. The given mic arm is durable and can be adjusted for any desk and the arm is secure and stable when moving mic around.The mic itself sounds very good, it is slightly muffled but it is barely noticeable and it does cut out a good amount of background noise. The mute button is easily accessible and really useful.Love the led lights on it and it really compliments my gaming pc.I would highly recommend for a first time microphone.
