For winter he does have a heavier quilt he will also put under this. The sheets that come with the comforter are soft and a lovely blue as you can see in the photo with the pillow that is peaking out. He has not used the shams but then I didn't expect him to (too much extra work and he isn't that motivated). The pocket on the side of the sheet is great (my daughter and her roommate at college both use it as they have the same set as this but different colors and size) but my son has a window sill he puts his phone on to charge instead. It fits the double sized bed in the dorm apartment. We paired it with plaid rug from desertcart and navy drapes and he is quite content with the outcome. The bedding arrived quickly and the price was reasonable for the set. Review: Worth the money - Very nice set. Love the side pockets and the comforter is light and fluffy.

Worth the money

Great bed set
Super soft and cozy feeling. They fit great and look great. And I absolutely love the pockets on the sides. You don't realize how much you need those pockets until you have them! Perfectly priced for the whole.

Looks great, color is nice, the comforter is thick and warm. And my son loved it! Also comes with sheets that seem to be great quality as well.

Cozy, simple, and affordable!
This comforter was perfect for my son’s bedroom. He wanted a hunting/fishing/camo bedroom. We didn’t want the camo to be clashing with all of his decor so we came across this comforter and decided to try it. It’s very comfortable, not too thick, not too thin and soft. I scored it on sale and thought it was a great value for the money for everything that was included. I have already washed it and it came out great.

Looks nice, but quality seems so-so
It's not the highest quality set I've purchased. The pillow shams aren't even the right size for a regular pillow. Not long enough, and too tall...like they got the proportions wrong. The fabric is pretty light and doesn't seem long-lasting. We'll see. Looks good, though!
