Color Me Swoon: The Beefcake Activity Book for Good Color-Inners as well as Beginners

Got this for my girlfriend for Christmas.Pros: Coloring book is really well done and quite amusing. Lots of activities and she seems to enjoy it because it's relaxing for her to color in hunks after a long day.Cons: Coloring book made it even more abundantly clear that if my girlfriend ever meets Ryan Gosling, I'm toast.

A fun coloring book! My sister and I had a few good laughs on Christmas.Most of the drawings are great. The only one I really had a hard time with was Brad Pitt. It didn't really look like a young Brad to me or my sister. There was a poem about Keanu that struck a nerve. I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be serious or funny. He just happens to be one of my all time favorite crushes. River Phoenix will also hold a special place in my heart right along with him!Overall, buy this great piece of entertainment and ignore my sensitivity. I mostly wrote it in case the author ever reads her reviews.

Got this for my 15 year-old daughter. Be aware that there is some mature content. I wondered about this, but I did not see any reviews indicating the targeted age, and the option to look inside was not available. Here is an example of what I mean by mature content: on the description of Aaron Paul the author states, "I'm not normally that thrilled about meth addicts, but Aaron Paul's character in Breaking Bad has the ability to make them completely adorable,...." This statement ends with an asterisk; in the footnote the author goes on to say, "I'm not saying that drug abuse is the way to forge loving relationships so don't even try it. Drugs are bad, kids." This statement makes it seem that the author's target audience is young girls. However, later under Javier Bardem, the author states, "If you'd like to sip sangria with Mr. Bardem...." This is very contradictory being that most teenage girls shouldn't be dreaming of drinking alcohol. Anyways, be aware of these things if you are considering this for a teenage girl. Hindsight, I probably would have skipped on this for my daughter at least for a couple of years. The five stars come from her, she says she loves it.

Bought as a gift for a girlfriend's birthday and contemplated keeping it for myself. It's actually a lot sturdier than I expected; well put-together and has a good layout. Opening to any page will give you an uncolored outline of any given hunk along with a related activity on the opposite side. Perfect gag- but not-so-gag-gift.

The artwork in the book is just OK... It's very simplistic. The term "beefcake" here refers to pictures that if you squint your eyes and look at from a distance look slightly like the celebrities they claim to be. Daniel Craig looks more like Vladimir Putin. I bought this for a friend who is recuperating from surgery and thought these would be sexy muscular men.

Bought this as a perfect gift for my Best friend who loves drawing and follows latest celebrity gossip! At first she laughed a lot when she saw this but went straight into coloring mode as soon she started to flip the pages. She cant wait to see what I get her for her next birthday gift!

Bought this for my friend who is an adult who likes to color. Was very disappointed. I heard a popular radio show talking about this and I checked it out and thought it was a sure win for a present. Really disappointed as to how cheesy it looked. Was embarrassed to give as gift. Should have returned but was too late to find another present.

Bought this book for a friend, thought it would be just a cheap overpriced coloring book, but it was actually really nice, id say its really more of a "book", i think it really wasn't meant to be colored, but totally could if you wanted to.the illustrations are great and all the actors are recognizable, and on the opposite page of the portraits are fun little activities to do, like word searches, word scrambles and each page lets you rate the men.id recommend this for anyone who is a big movie buff.i wish they'd come out with an Actress version

My initial thought was that this is a hilarious and cute gift so I'll buy 2, one for a friend and one for me. But then I felt like I'd set feminism back a couple years. "A colouring book of hot dudes?? Imagine if there was a colouring book of hot girls! That would only further act to objectify women. What a double standard I've acted on. What have I done." And then flipping through it I realized that all the men are clothed. And they also have a section of more "adorkable" male celebrities. It's a pretty classy and respectful colouring book to be honest. Haven't coloured any in yet but the drawing style looks nice. I'm sure I'll find it relexing to colour in these dudes while at the same time being secure with my feminist beliefs.

This is such a fun coloring book and I am sure my adult daughter is going to love coloring in the "hotties". I like that you can rate each guy too. Such a fun concept!

Ce cahier de coloriages pour midinettes est extrêmement drôle : chaque page présente un texte amusant (mais en anglais) sur un homme sexy (des acteurs de toutes nationalités) en regard de sa silhouette à colorier, plus ou moins habillée. Je l'ai offert deux fois, les deux fois ce fut un grand succès. Si vous voulez que la destinataire en profite pleinement et immédiatement, pensez à joindre un paquet de crayons de couleur au paquet. :-)

Le livre est parfait, il y a des petits jeux à chaque page en plus du dessin, il y a également des notes sur 10 que l'on peut mettre à chaque personnage. Cependant... ce qui est un peu dommage, c'est le choix de certains personnages, j'aurais préféré d'autres personnalités, mais sinon, c'est super et le rendu est parfait!
