It is far to soon to tell if this works but, already after only a few nights use I know this is a cream I would re-purchase. I received this on the Vine programme to try and, in honesty, as I have never heard of this product or manufacturer, I would not have chosen to purchase it but, having now tried it, I am impressed.It is a yellow, almost ointment/cream in a tube. You need very little to cover your whole face. I noticed no significant scent and, given this contains retinol, I experienced no irritation but, if you have never used retinoids previously, take care to build up to daily night time use, start with say, twice per week. My skin did seem ever so slightly raw after the second night's use but, no so that it would put me off. I certainly looked fresher the morning after.You are strongly advised to patch test over 48 hours before using and to avoid the cream if you have sensitive skin, which I do have. This is described as clinical grade containing 0.3% retinol - I don't know if this is high or not but the product I had been using contained 0.4% but this Whitesilk definately seems to have more active product in it because I can actually feel and believe I can see the difference.As the sun has now revealed itself here in the UK I may just save this cream and give it a longer test when I am not at risk of burning my face as I do not believe Retinol and Sunshine mix well - even if you are only using this at night a 30+ SPF is a must the following day or you will undo the hard work of the cream and/or damage your skin. I would never, ever even consider using a product containing Retinol during the day, at bed-time is best, let it do it's work and use a good Vit C (never with Retinol) and Hyaluronic acid in your morning routine instead (+ SPF factor 30+).I am probably biased because I have a lot of faith in Korean Skincare products but this cream just feels like good quality and definitely a fair price for the Retinol content.

If using it in the daytime I use it on clean dry skin and follow up with my normal skincare products plus this cream also needs to be followed up with a high SPF to protect your skin. I think this is an impressive cream for the price.

I can't fully endorse the claim that this WhiteSilk Night Repair is the strongest retinal cream you can buy, but I can definitely say that this cream is worth a try. After using it for 10 days, I see my skin is clearer and tighter, which might be due to the strong concentration of retinoid (4000ppm) or its formulation, but it seems to work. It's a thick yellow cream that sinks into the skin well. I'm very pleased to have chosen to test it, and the 30ml bottle should last about a month with nightly use. So far, I am very satisfied and haven't experienced any irritation or side effects.
