Metal Grain Mill Attachment Fit for KitchenAid Stand Mixer, 12-Level Adjustable Flour Mill Grain Grinder for Kitchenaid, Fit for Wheat, Corn, Oats, Nut

I am using this grinder in a home made stand that my machinist husband made, to grind our fresh chicken feed, from whole organic grains. Even on the most open (largest particles) setting, the grinder will produce a bit more "flour" than I'd like to have, but it does wonderfully! And fast! The old KitchenAid grinder we had for many years, had steel burrs and they are worn off now...I could not find a replacement for the burrs, so ordered this new head...it will fit the front of any KitchenAid stand mixer So far, I'm very pleased with it. Did I say, this thing is fast??? :-)

…dry grain. Fits Kitchen Aid perfectly (classic). Easy to use - fill hopper, place wide bowl below, dial granularity, turn on mixer. 5 stars but should give 4 because milling discs will wear out at some time in the (distant) future. I’m old fashioned and would like to get replacements at that time. Possible? Dunno. Yeah, i know, cross that bridge when I get there.That said, does very well with millet. Not appropriate for corn. Will try farro, oat next, eventually wheat. Overall, pretty happy with it. Oh, it does get warm so allow time to cool.

I used this grain mill attachment exactly as instructed—starting on the lowest speed, gradually increasing, and running it for less than 10 minutes total. Despite following the listed usage limits, my stand mixer began smoking heavily, emitted a strong burning smell, and the motor was completely destroyed.This wasn’t just frustrating—it was potentially dangerous, and could have easily become a fire hazard. The mixer had been working perfectly prior to using this attachment.The product listing stated it was compatible with KitchenAid mixers, but failed to warn about potential motor strain or safety risks. I’ve since had to go through a lengthy customer service process to report the damage and attempt to resolve the issue.I cannot recommend this product. If you value your mixer—or your safety—please look elsewhere.

Collecting KitchenAid attachments has been a hobby of mine for a while, and while many go unused (like the juicer attachment and the grater) this one turned out to be very very useful. I no longer have to buy the final products at the store and get them possibly mixed with god knows what, I can make it at home and make sure everything is fresh and clean with no additives. The best thing about it? It is SOLID, many attachments are plastic and feel flimsy, not this one. It is solid metal and heavy, so you know you're getting your money's worth. Even though it is 3rd party, it does fit right in to my kitchen aid without any issue. It comes with tools to open it up and disassemble it, that way you can clean all the crevices where things can get stuck. It has a selector for the grinding and is very easy to use. Overall, it is definitely worth it, and a great addition to my kitchenaid, I know I will be using it more often now that I have additional attachments. All I am missing is a pasta one.

I like the mill but it is a little slow. Need to stop every 20 minutes or so and let my mixer cool off. Other then that works well if you want to mill flour to make a few loaves of bread.

This grinder broke my mixer. I had a older mixer and it couldnt handle what the grinder was putting out. It was difficult to change the setting but the little bit i got to use was nice. Will be looking for a different one when i get a new machine

This is a good quality grinder with an affordable price. I used this to grind my own oat grit. It works just as described. It’s pretty easy to setup. The grits come out are pretty fine size, no big chucks like an ordinary blender. The clean up is pretty easy to perform as well. Overall it’s a good investment.
