Stunning Display, Worth Every Penny
The QD-OLED panel delivers breathtaking colors and true blacks that make HDR content pop. With a 240Hz refresh rate and near-instant response times, gaming feels incredibly fluid and responsive. Pros: Incredible contrast, vibrant colors, and sleek design. Cons: Expensive and requires careful settings to mitigate burn-in. Overall, it is the best 4K monitor I have ever owned.

Amazing Monitor
If you're stuck on choosing which OLED monitor to buy, definitely get this one. It has the best colors and the sharpest images I've ever seen on any monitor. Its super easy to setup and the stand is incredibly sturdy. The screen is blazing fast thanks to the extremely low response times and high refresh rate. The 2k resolution is crystal clear while gaming or watching movies. You wont have to worry about burn in at all with this monitor since is comes packed with many features to prevent it. Overall 10/10 monitor, best purchase for my setup hands down.

Great monitor at a great price!
I purchased the monitor during Black Friday for a great price! I chose this monitor because I appreciate the quality build of the MSI brand. I previously owned the MSI Optix G27C5, a 1080p / 165 Hz monitor. I recently upgraded my PC build so I wanted a monitor to match its power. I was not disappointed with the MSI 271 QPX OLED. This monitor looks like a mirror when it is off because of its glossiness. Compared to my previous monitor, the icon / text sizes were different because of the enhanced resolution. However, I resolved it by adjusting the scaling in the Windows “display” settings. The Pros: HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 240 Hz is visually smooth as expected Colors are great Text is clear and sharp OLED Care features to prevent burn-in 3-year burn-in warranty The Cons: Not a curved screen The stand is a bit bulky and can take up some desk space (VESA arm/mount can resolve this) Overall a great purchase with the quality, display resolution, and functions as expected. I would recommend this monitor.

As of today (12/27/24) it's been a disappointment (EDITED 1/5/25)
I installed this monitor on 12/22/24 and I'm writing this review on 12/27/24. Due to life changing things I'm no longer able to game as much as I used to so in those 5 days I probably have 5 hours or less of usage in this monitor. I have been having the issues seen and described in the video since 12/26/24. It started with some medium size artifacting every 10 seconds or so and it's gotten to the point where the monitor is unusable because the artifacting covers the whole screen and I lose image. Things I have done so far to try and fix the issue: 1) Gave the monitor a reset to its factory settings. No luck 2) Swapped the display port cable that I had for the one included with the monitor (my old one can be seen in the video hanging in the bottom of the monitor). No luck 3) Updated the monitor to the latest firmware. No luck I have only one thing to try and it's changing the display port cable again. To my surprise, I didn't know that Display Port 2.1 existed and that fiber optic DP cables existed. Doing research on this issue I found that out. So I had to end up ordering a Fiber Optic DP cable that costed me almost $30 for a 6.6Ft. Sadly I'm going to have to wait a very long time to get the cable since I live in Puerto Rico and Amazon has terrible service to Puerto Rico, even as a Prime member. Wait times of over 3 weeks to finally get my items In conclusion and short term review: Pros: • OLED is on another level! Image quality is outstanding! Its the most beautiful image I have seen in a screen. Incredibly accurate colors out of the box, the deepest blacks I've seen. Can imagine with some tuning it only getting better. The incredibly fast pixel response time gives you an image with pretty much no overshoot making it look blur free. It's something you have to try by yourself to truly appreciate and experience. • 27" is new to me. I've only had 24" monitors before this one so it's been nice to have a little bit bigger screen. • 1440p it's also new to me. Never before had I gamed at 2K res. The difference is so noticeable with the image quality and the sharpness • Aesthetically beautiful monitor. What can I say? The design makes the monitor look very modern but not too "gamery". It looks great • 360hz is also new to me and WOW! The smoothness of the image is incredible! Even in the desktop moving my cursor around I can notice a huge difference from a TN 240hz panel to this beast OLED 360hz monitor. Cons: • I think we all can agree that these issues I'm having are a deal breaker. Especially in the short amount of time I have had with this monitor and the short amount of usage. Only around 5 hours of use in 5+ days. • Updating the firmware is not the easiest thing to do at first. The software is pretty bad and there's no clear, specific to this monitor instructions coming from MSI on how to do it. I contacted MSI's support trying to get some help and they weren't helpful at all. I ended up figuring the issue out by myself. • Updating the firmware didn't fix the issue • MSI's customer support wasn't helpful I pretty much never review anything, especially with photos or video but I felt I had to let everyone looking to buy this monitor know about the issues you can have with it. At the time being, to be able to use the monitor, I had to set it at 120hz. I have the issue described at 240hz and 360hz. I don't have an option in between 120hz and 240hz. That would require creating a custom resolution. But what's the point of getting a 360hz monitor if to have a "problem free" experience you have to set the refresh rate at 120hz? Once I receive the high bandwidth fiber optic Display Port 2.1 cable I will update this review. I'll try to get one locally as Amazon wait times to my country are ridiculous and the return window for the monitor gets closer with each day that goes by. I will update the review also if I end up returning the monitor to Amazon EDIT (1/5/25) I ended up returning the monitor on 12/30/24 as the issues I described and showed on video in this review persisted and even got worse. I was too scared that the return window would close and I ended up with a $650+ paperweight.

First time purchasing an OLED, never going back to IPS. MSI is where it's at, the colors are deep & vibrant. Instant difference from IPS which I prefer much more, very happy with this monitor. Fantastic for gaming & watching film, has a great warranty & many features. I've read a lot about OLEDS burning in but I am confident my monitor will not having Msi OLED care features & the manufacturer warranty of 3 years for burn in. Gaming is smooth & buttery, don't notice any tears, film is sharp & lively with true deep black. You'll definitely enjoy this monitor. Worth the money getting 360hz for such beautiful display.

I recently purchased the MSI MAG 321UPX OLED monitor, and I am absolutely impressed with its performance. The 32-inch display offers stunning 4K resolution, delivering vibrant colors and deep blacks thanks to the OLED technology. The contrast ratio is phenomenal, and the picture quality is crystal clear, making it perfect for both gaming and content creation. The fast 240 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth gameplay, and the low latency response time makes it ideal for competitive gamers. The design is sleek, with minimal bezels that enhance the immersive experience. The colors pop, and the screen is great for watching movies or editing photos due to its wide color gamut. The stand is sturdy, adjustable, and easy to set up. It also comes with excellent connectivity options, including USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort. Overall, the MSI MAG 321UPX is an outstanding OLED monitor that delivers exceptional visual quality and performance, making it well worth the investment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-tier display technology.

I've been using it for a while now, and honestly, it's pretty stunning. The first thing that hits you is the picture quality. I've seen OLEDs before, but the Quantum Dot tech really does add something special. Colors are incredibly vibrant, and the contrast is just insane. Blacks are truly black, which makes a huge difference in games and movies, especially dark scenes. It's like seeing details I never noticed before. Gaming on this thing is also a dream. The 360Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth, and I haven't noticed any ghosting or smearing. It's definitely helped my reaction time in fast-paced shooters. If you're serious about competitive gaming, this monitor is a strong contender. Now, it's not perfect. It's definitely pricey, which is a big consideration. Also, like all OLEDs, there's the potential for burn-in, so you need to be mindful of static elements on the screen for extended periods. I've been careful with it, and haven't had any issues so far, but it's something to keep in mind. Overall, if you're looking for a top-of-the-line gaming monitor with incredible picture quality and smooth performance, the MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED is definitely worth considering. It's a premium product with a premium price tag, but the visual experience is truly impressive. Just be aware of the OLED caveats.

A very good-valued oled monitor that offers extraordinary features among all the oled monitor options out there with some things people should know before buying. This is a fantastic oled panel that basically have all the benefits of an oled display that you could ask for and even few more useful features for itself. First of all, this specific model is mainly distributed online and it is a 2024 model(thats what the E2 in the name means) and while some people like me who like to do research may find this specific monitor have a previous model that shares an identical name but without “E2”, and see the difference on the refresh rate. On the older one it is 360hz instead of 240hz on this E2 model. Hold on, I know but wait, don’t run to that product page yet, let me finish. This new E2 model offers something that most previous(models earlier than 2023) oled panels don’t have. Which is MSI their own qd-oled protections. As most people know, one of oled’s most lethal drawback is the burn-in issue. Secondly the color accuracy, and text clarity. But on the 271qpx qd-oled e2, these issues are carefully solved and decently improved on. I would even say this is their attempt to make an oled panel that is actually good for professional productivity users, since it has an absolutely amazing level of color range and accuracy, here is the specs(i pulled from their website, and i have also received a test certificate to prove for it) sRGB: ~138.4 % • DCI-P3: ~99.1 % • Adobe RGB: ~98 % • Certified DisplayHDR True Black 400 • Delta E ≤ 2 (factory calibration) for color accuracy claim For anyone who doesn’t know, this is already a fantastic level for professional to make industrial level content. For comparison, Typical high-end IPS monitor: sRGB 99%, DCI-P3 90–95%, Adobe RGB 85–90%, HDR 400. So it’s very impressive on this aspect. As for few of it’s things that maybe you should be cautious about, one, it has a noise-making coli for it’s internal power(that’s my way to put it since I am not an electrician) if you put your ear closely you would hear the constant sizzing sound. But personally I wouldn’t really care nor notice it that much since it’s quite subtle and only audible if you are literally putting your ears onto the back of it which I don’t think normal users would. Plus when gaming most people will put on a headphone which makes it impossible to hear it. Secondly, I would say more importantly, is most MSI monitor lack of G-sync. Including this one, and instead it only has FreeSync. I will not go to deep on explaining what it is, people who know, they know, if don’t, it’s a quick google question. The simplest but a bit sharp way I would put it is this is not a monitor for users with lower end setups(older, weaker GPU and CPU) that cannot confidently provide constant high FPS and performance, since its VRR is only supported from 48-240hz, any case if your FPS drops below 48 for any reason, you will experience white flickering and tearing, which it’s not something anyone will like. However, for users like myself that use a 5070ti and a Macbook Pro M3 chip, I’ve never experienced such issues. That is to ensure turn OFF the FreeSync if you have a good setup, turning it on when you don’t need it can cause the problem. And lastly, this product comes with a short power cable that is only 1m long, consider it when you are setting up your space. I’ve convered basically all I have experienced with this monitor, this is a fantastic OLED monitor that tile more for professional with a reasonable budget in mind. It is a valuable for an oled with latest tech to actually extend its own lifespan and offers the premium look and user experience that no other type of panels could. Also, no need to mention but I will still bring it up, it’s also an implacable choice for gamers too, just like any oled panels out there but with potential longer lifespan and ability to handle professional imaging work as well.
