This medium sized, cone-shaped, stoneware bowl has many possible functions. It has such a beautiful glaze that it would be an excellent display piece, but is also suitable for hot or cold food and safe for use in dishwashers and microwaves. It is very decorative, with a black tenmoku glaze outside and a mottled blue green glaze inside with hints of cream, purple and brown. I find it difficult to do justice to a description of this glaze, so look at the photographs, which don't do it justice either but will give you an approximation. The bowl weighs about 820 grams.
