Good book, has lots of tips and tricks.
Very helpful for SAT prep. I 100% would recommend it if you want to do well on the SAT. Barrons is very good at creating study guides like this. If you combine this with online material and make sure to think through problems, it should be very, very useful.

Waste of repeat questions
Questions in this book our identical to 2024 version. Do not purchase this book if you already have that version. Complete waste of money.

A waste of money for the English section
The lessons in the beginning of this book are relevant, and I am speaking only on the English portion. However, the exercises, practice tests within the text, and full tests for practice at the end of the book are an absolute disaster. They repeat errors so that students are answering the same types of questions over and over. Comparing this to the practice test material available on the College Board website, this book is a joke. I speak as a high school English teacher of 32 years and a current English SAT/ACT tutor; I have been tutoring and teaching SAT English for the past 18 years. Do not purchase this book.
